I like my new washer & dryer from GE - large capacity, more options in selecting cycles, save water usages& operating quietly. Both machines working efficiently

I recently purchased the GE Profile Dryer and I am incredibly impressed with its performance. This dryer has exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Firstly, the build quality is outstanding and the sleek design fits perfectly in my laundry room. One of the standout features is its efficient drying capabilities. It dries clothes much faster than my previous dryer, saving me both time and energy. The different drying settings are also a huge plus, allowing me to choose the perfect temperature and time for each type of fabric. The sensor drying feature is another great addition, as it automatically adjusts the drying time based on the moisture level of the clothes, ensuring they come out perfectly dry without being over-dried. This not only protects my clothes but also reduces energy consumption. Additionally, the large capacity drum is perfect for handling big loads, which is a lifesaver for my large family. The dryer also operates very quietly, which is a nice change from my old, noisy model. Overall, the GE Profile Dryer is a fantastic appliance that delivers on its promises. The various settings make it easy to customize drying times and heat levels based on the type of fabric. I really appreciate the sleek design which fits perfectly in my laundry room, and it's surprisingly quiet during operation. The lint filter is easy to clean, and I've noticed my clothes come out feeling soft without any static.

It's very quiet…however so is the cycle end notification. Flexible discharge/exhaust vent pipe was very tight to self install…not as easy as expected. WiFI was not intuitive either, but was able to connect. Top is slightly sloped so can't level at install from top cover..have to go along front door seam to square level. Had to enter date of order not in possession of product… so warranty will actually be a couple days short. Used just 1, haven't tried preset drying setting…but I prefer setting the dry time of my choice. Good range of drying temperatures. This was a replacement for a mode that was too hot even on low setting… definitely what I was looking for. I wanted made in America from what I can see it is assembled. I think in Kentucky off the top of my head.. with the tariffs it just seemed a better value presently. My energy company has a qualified rebate for energy efficiency… but it's always gonna take the same amount of electrical energy to dry your clothes from the same start point of saturation and spin in your dryer. Overall, I think it's a good product and bottom line is I would buy it again and I'm happy it came without any glitches in manufacturing that other reviewers have stated.

It drys clothes well & has several cycles to choose from. I do miss my old dryer! It was simple to operated, cycles were clear & it made a sound when the load was completed. Also the door on this one is difficult to open & close. It like sticks? I'll get used to it but my old one was nicer!

Our dryer is new and we haven't fully explored all its capabilities. Generally it works as expected, although we often have to run items through a second time. This is probably due to user head space but that is the reason I only can give it 4 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer works well but the drum is loud and the plastic pieces inside aren't good they don't seal good and I had two dimes stuck inside and made the dryer sound like there was a bolder inside of it.

I bought these machines about 2 years ago. Worst purchase ever made. The washing machine seems to always leave debris of something on your clothes and the dryer never seems to dry your clothes completely also the machine BLEW out on me and I found out there is a KNOWN issue with faulty wiring at the heating element. The purple wire burns off and no longer makes contact and then the machine won't dry you clothes at all. After paying so much money for these machines and then having to pay someone to repair it ONLY 2 years later and all that for the machine to STILL not function well is horrible and I would advise anyone reading this review to avoid these products at ALL cost... I truly regret this purchase...

I'm so unhappy with this washer dryer set. The washer won't balance unless I use the deep fill cycle which wastes water. Even when I do use that cycle I frequently need to re-spin the clothes to get the excessive water out. So I have a washer with multiple cycles but can only use one of them. The dryer also only has one usable cycle which is the time dry and even when we set it to the maximum time of 90 minutes it requires restarting to get the clothes dry. I get vent blocked messages frequently even though my vent is clear. I must do a 40 minute vent check to clear it before I can used the dryer. My Electrolux washer dryer set had no issues and I really miss that set.

Does not dry clothes in the times it should. Bought this about 6 months ago and hate it. The exhaust grill vent inside the machine gets clogged up OUTSIDE of the filter screen and needs to be cleaned off with a duster after every use. Inconvenient. Doesnt dry properly. Going to be getting rid of it soon.
