GE Profile™ Opal™ 2.0 Ultra Nugget Ice Maker with Side Tank and Scale Inhibiting Filter

The ice is delicious we all love to put some in our drink and chew on it it's very soft the only complaints I would have about it it is pretty loud when it's running in the kitchen and you have to refill the water container often and it doesn't make a super fast you could never keep up with a party making mixed drinks with it you would have to make a bunch in advance and bag it up

it is a good ice maker. One issue is to never use anything but distilled water. If you don't use that it will freeze up and make very loud squealing noises. Other than that its great.

DO NOT BUY - this ice maker will stop working within a year. Even following their rigorous cleaning cycles, only using bottled water, and paying extra for their premium filter, the device has failed - making a horrendous screeching noise until it shuts off (or we can't take it anymore and shut it off ourselves), making it unusable. Their support service forces you to descale over and over and refuses to accept liability for their defective design. First had issues with the motor within 6 months. If you are considering buying this product - ask yourself whether it's worth the price considering it may last less than a year.

I would love to be able to rate this machine but we’ve had issues with it since the day we got it. Have reached out to GE service three times with no response. Even a sent a video of the loud noises it was making.

Had this ice maker for a little over a year. Makes great ice but started squeaking noise within the first 3 months. Sounds like a crying baby. Now just over a year it started making a very loud noise like a lawn mower. This noise is unbearable and would not stop after power was turned off. The unit had to be unplugged.

3rd one in less than a year. Still not working properly. Grinds very loudly. Ready to just return and not get a replacement.

I knew I wanted this item as a friend has the identical model and it's great. But the delivery experience was horrendous as I ordered the item from a third party seller (GEHaier). The unit arrived with a disintegrated box that appeared to have been dropped multiple times, soaking wet with a waterline on the box indicating it had sat in standing water at the warehouse or in transit. It smelled moldy. I returned it promptly and Walmart accepted it. Now I have to wait up to three weeks for a refund. Beware ordering from third party sellers.

Horrible product and even more horrible company. This ice maker squealed from day 1. A high pitched squeal. Cannot return to Walmart. I have contacted the company 2x now and Walmart customer service once. The company told me to unplug it, defrost and plug it back in. ITS BRAND NEW!!! was told I would receive a shipping label to return and have not! Cannot get the company to respond now. Waste of hundreds of dollars. And a ton of headache and time. Do not buy this product or from this company!!!

it sucks,i have been trying to return it for 2 weeks,the bar c I de you gave me doesn't work ,and noone knons what to do. i want my money back . i have talked to customer service at least 10 times. yesterday ,rhey kept hanging up,or they keep reading from que cards. i am getting an attorney if i don't have an answer by monday
