Just what I needed
These lights are great. Have used them in three houses and never had a single problem. They are a great buy.
My kitchen has 6 recessed lights that give lots of brightness for meal prepping but heated up the kitchen so quickly that I'd be sweating before I even turned the oven on! Now the only extra heat comes from the Tabasco sauce!
I replaced bulbs in all my can lights with LED's a few years ago. Some of those early bulbs had issues so I needed to replace them. The GE soft white LED floodlight bulbs are so far doing a great job. Color temperature and amount of light is comparable to 65W incandescent soft white floods. As a bonus, they are dimmable and show no sign of flicker when dimmed.
Just what I needed but had not meant to order them when I did but luckily they came just in time for when a bulb died and had to be replaced. Just be very carful not to leave the app open or you can accidentally order things you are thinking about still.
Expensive, but everything is these days
None Better at LOW price
Have to use in Resess lighting. These go out within 6-8 months
They seem fine and hopefully they have a long life
These lamps are advertised as dimmable using a list of approved dimmer switches. I picked a brand of dimmer switch that was available at Home Depot and installed the approved Lutron dimmer switch at the same time as these new LED bulbs. After a good amount of time, (10 minutes or so) the bulbs flicker on full bright. Dimming the bulbs to about 60% will stop the flicker. I'm very disappointed.
