I thought this would be a noisy dishwasher since there are models that rate quieter, but compared to our old one, this one is dreamy quiet. Also we used to hand wash dishes and then use our old dishwasher as kind of a “sanitation” cycle because it wasn't capable of getting dishes clean. I am still in the habit of pre-rinsing but even that is a lot less time than pre-washing dishes and the few dishes I have been brave enough just to put in completely dirty came out beautifully. I also love the third, top rack and use it everytime.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a ge dishwasher professionally installed and it leaked right away and we didn't notice h til the floor leaked and the company wouldn't back their work. We had to water remediation then replace flooring then my husband and myself installed this with a leak pan and water sensor. Overall very easy. The instructions were straight forward and the top 3rd row is nice. It's very similar to our old one just wished they had a stainless steal option as that one might have dried a bit more in the steam and bottle setting but overall great dishwasher for the price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the dishwasher, the capacity it holds and cleans is far better than I could have ever imagined. It uses very little energy and is also very quiet especially when trying to watch your favorite shows.
The dishwasher is similar to what I had before. Would prefer that the silver rack be in the front of the bottom shelf instead of at the side. My previous rack had 3 parts so one could be removed it not needed, but this one has one large rack with no removable parts. Also, must remember to push the door shut in between use- otherwise the door does not appear flush to the counter. Still getting used to the controls at the top of the door; one must set the cycle before shutting the door!!
When using the Dry Boost the dishes actually get dry! That's about all I really like about this unit. Not very many dishes fit in it. I had to take out the very top rack in order to get water bottles to fit. The racks in the bottom rack are spaced too wide & it is difficult to get large bowls to stay sideways. Also - the seal around the front of the dishwasher constantly rubs against the bottom rack when you push it in, and then the seal comes off. You have to keep putting it back on. I also don't like the controls on the top of the door. When the door is open I have to stand in front of it to unload it, and my shins press the buttons, changing all the settings.
I feel like this is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. I hate the way the rockstar. The silverware basket is too small and has already melted from the heated drying. Also my dishes don't dry completely like they did in my 1980 Kenmore. The other problem is is it beeps at me every time I so much as brush the power controls.Noise wise it's fine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the main reasons I purchased this model was the bottle cleaner. Unfortunately it's too short for me to use on bottles (I make kombucha) or even a thermos). I also didn't receive the bottle clips as shown on the video. Very disappointintg.
Too expensive to be this much trouble. When received, it leaked. That was replaced under warranty. Less than two years later the drain pump is not working. Whirlpool has better products for less money.
The lowest grade dishwasher ever. VERY loud, no insulation. It was installed by my builder, I had no choice. After only 1 month, I had to replace it basically due to the noise factor. I tried to improve it with adding insulation to the cabinet and buying a blanket for the dishwasher but that didn't help.
We had the same washer with our home built in 2005 for 20 years. It finally broke and we trusted the GE Brand. This product is overwhelmingly bad. The configuration is practically unusable, but the most amazing thing is how cheaply it is put together. The top rack slides out and slams forward if there is even the lightest items in it. It wobbles constantly. The bottom rack does not glide, but grinds against the door when opened. Wish we could have kept our 20 year old washer, that probably cost HALF of what this new janky piece of junk costed.
