Cleans and dries great. Third rack is amazing.

nickel88 June 17, 2026

It does a beautiful job of cleaning the dishes, and it even gets plastic lids dry. It has cut down the amount of pre-washing, handwashing and drying I've had to do. I love the third rack, bottle wash feature and how amazingly well it cleans silverware. The third rack items get as clean as they would on a 1st or 2nd rack. It is also very quiet. Some of the tine spacing in the 1st & 2nd racks don't allow me to arrange dishes as I'm accustomed to, but, overall, I'm thrilled with the dishwasher's performance.

I love this very quite dish washer.

MajorMatt1701 April 6, 2026

I love on how quite it is. At first. I had to listen very carefully to see if it was actually working. Of course now, I can tell when it is running but it Is so quite you do not need to turn up the flatscreen to hear even the quite scenes. It also does a great job on the dishes and pots and pans

Comparable

Thankful71 May 12, 2026

This dishwasher is comparable to the one I had for 23 years. It holds large items and small items. I love the third shelf for knives and other small items. It is also very quiet, which is important because of the smallness of my home. Dishes come out clean and dry.and totally sanitized .

Quiet. Nice features, Wheels do not glide smoothly

Poppy14 April 13, 2026

Nice washer and very quiet. Rollers do not glide smoothly and feel like they are dragging or held back even though I carefully inspected each set for something caught in the wheels. Just cheaply make plastic rollers that do not roll on dedicated tracks.

No Owner's Guide

TT65 June 25, 2026

It would have been nice to be provided the 26 page Owner's Manual (English section) since this is a brand new dishwasher. Only received an 8 page Owner's Guide (English section). I know I could go online and print it myself but why should I have to? Not sure on the actual dishwasher as it was just installed.

Limited inside space

JJNBL July 1, 2026

Pros: cleans very well and is relatively quiet. Cons: tiniest most impractical interior. If you host dinner parties this dishwasher is not for you! It is poorly designed (not enough prongs on the bottom drawer to allow efficient loading of dishes) to the point that it holds much less than my old 24” Kenmore (RIP). I have a choice after having family over - load dishes and one serving dish in bottom and glasses in top and wait to do a second cycle of dessert and coffee cups and more cookware. The middle drawer has the annoying habit of sliding forward as soon as you put one object into it, constantly bumping you as you try to load the bottom drawer. I am not sure what the point is of the top drawer as it too holds so little. Yes it does a good job but I am running this dishwasher twice as much as my old one because of the limited space within it.

Ok. Not great…

MNliving March 8, 2026

This dishwasher is ok. It has some nice features which I haven’t used much—silverware washing and drinking bottle washers. However I am really dissatisfied with the bottom rack. It has 2 rows of racks and the one side ONLY fits larger dinner plates. Many times I have smaller plates or bowls that I need to put on the bottom but can’t because the rack is too large for them. I wish I could get a different bottom rack!

Okay dishwasher

Feucht March 14, 2026

The dishwasher doesn't feel very sturdy and is a lot smaller than our previous one. It cleans the dishes very well but we can't fit as much in it. We hope it lasts longer than our previous LG one. The controls aren't in a convient spot. Everytime that you open the dishwasher, you are touching the controls and turning on the dishwasher. We wish we would have paid more attention to the dishwashers when we were picking out them.

Garbage dishwasher, GE should be embarrassed

twoeightfour July 6, 2026

I purchased 6 of these dishwashers for my rental building, I have installed only 5. By the time I was ready to install the 6th, the first 2 were already busted. Broken control boards, according to Google. Each one of them turns on, begins its cycle, and then experiences what looks like a power cut or a reset. You hear some solenoid click click click, then the entire control board goes dark, comes back on a second later, tries to get back into the cycle.... and then 60 seconds later, repeats the whole click click thing. One dishwasher was running for about 15 hours without making any progress, just getting stuck in its loop. One month later, all 5 of the installed dishwashers are doing the same thing. All 5 of them! All 5 are stuck in some nonsense reboot cycle, never getting to the finish line. They'll run 24/7 and do sweet sweet nothing the whole time. Great job GE, you're an embarrassment to your name.

Design flaw caused leaking and reduced performance

mjbruder June 28, 2026

Poor design that can lead to leaks and reduced performance I am very disappointed with the GE GDP670SYV1FS dishwasher. After normal use, the bottom spray arm began resting against the heating element, which melted and warped the plastic underside of the spray arm. The damaged spray arm then caused water to spray incorrectly, resulting in water leaking out of the front door and onto the floor. What makes this more frustrating is that GE previously used a simple metal guard on the underside of the spray arm to prevent this issue. Instead of keeping that proven solution, GE's redesign appears to raise the spray arm and lower dish rack and reduce the heating element wattage. The result is less usable loading space and weaker drying performance. A dishwasher should not have a design that allows a plastic component to melt during normal operation and potentially cause water damage. GE needs to address the root cause instead of reducing functionality to work around the problem.
