Easy installation

I absolutely love this receiptcal plug outlet with built in light. I wanted some kind of light in the hallway so when I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom but also didn't want something like a night light that I would have to watch to make sure the kiddos didn't mess with. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a well made outlet that looks great after installing. The LED light works great to add a little illumination to my hallway at night. The light turns on and off automatically which is a nice feature. This is a great option if you don't want to have to plug in a nightlight.

They have a built in light sending night light which makes seeing in the dark so much easier. I don't have to worry about bumping into anything in the middle of the night anymore. These work as they should and GE is a well known brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a friend install this for me. It was simple to do. The outlet works perfectly, I have had no issues with it at all. I have plugged in several kitchen appliances, a heater, and a extension cord in the outlet and it works like a charm. It has a nightlight on it, it doesn't put out much light, just enough to locate the outlet on the wall and you can also see what you are doing if you are plugging up something in the dark. I would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good about this was the outlet was pretty easy to install and works correctly from that standpoint. The only bad thing is the light isnt the brightest. If your looking for something to give illumination then this might not be the one for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been really wanting one of these outlets For my kitchen but now I regret it... well it was an easy install from the old outlet and the plugs work great but the down sides are that it didn't come with the face plate and the night light is not even bright enough to be considered a night light. I like that it cuts on when dark and off when it's not but it's not bright enough like the night lights I am use to having around my home.

Not the best receptacle for a house built in the 70's or 80's. Make sure you have a larger box in the wall before installing. I ordered 5 and 1 was crossed and popped the breaker so look out for that. The light isn't at all as bright as you'd hope for and as presented in the picture. Other than that- the light sensing at dusk and dawn is accurate.

The LED is so dim it illuminates ONLY itself. Tested in a pitch black room, it casts no light on no other objects in the space. It is useless as a night light. The positive reviews here are bogus and misleading, as is the description "Night Light".
