GE UNC15NPRII 15 inch Under Counter Nugget Ice Maker

I love my new GE icemaker. It could accommodate the custom door in my bar area, looks beautiful, and was a perfect fit.

We searched far and wide when looking for the perfect pebble ice machine and kept coming back to this model. It has everything you need plus more. We especially love the Wi-Fi connectivity with the App so that we can schedule when the machine should run. The App even tells you the Filter usage. We were able to have a custom door built for the unit so that it blends in with the kitchen. The best part is that the ice is perfection!

worked perfectly for 2 years, did all the required cleaning and filter changes and suddenly stopped making ice.Hard to find anyone in small town to look at it. Call GE they also didn't have anyone in the area for service.

Added wet bar to basement. My wife wanted a nugget ice maker so I began researching. This model had all the features she was looking for at the best price. So decided to pull the trigger. I ordered the pump which was ridiculously expensive , but was easy to install and was cheaper than ripping up the floor to support a gravity drain. The pump seems to work well. I considered a condensate drain pump as it was a fraction of the cost, but seemed a little risky since it would be located behind the ice maker. Overall the whole product was very easy to install. Had it up and making ice in less than 2 hours… pump included. The ice maker produces great ice. She is very satisfied with the product. It is a little loud while making ice, but we just schedule it to run while we are sleeping using the mobile app. So that is not an issue. We've only been using for less than a month, so time will tell on long-term quality. Other than cost, the only negative I can see so far is the extra added cost of the door panel. I can see why GE doesn't ship one because there are so many styles, but why make it so dang expensive to add? C'mon man… I refuse to pay that for a door kit and handle. I am making a wooden door panel to match the cabinets. It will look better and will be my way of sticking it to “the man.” Overall I am pleased with it. It's incredibly expensive for what it is, but it's one of those luxuries my wife wanted. Just money. You can't take it with you. And now she has chewy ice.

This ice machine makes great ice. The wifi function works well. It does stop frequently saying that the ice bin is full, when it is not. You have to turn it off and on again to get it to start making ice again. It is also fairly noisy when it is making ice and heats up the floor in front of, and the cabinets surrounding the ice maker .

The GE Profile under counter icemaker is amazing when it works! We love the nugget ice, however, once it melts, the drain cannot keep up and we end up with about 4-6 inches worth of water just sitting in the tank. When the icemaker starts making ice again, it dumps onto all of the existing water and just melts again. Eventually, it does drain, but we have to empty out cups of water for that to happen. It's quite ridiculous.

This ice machine has been a problem since it was first purchased. We had to get a new motherboard and now it's not working again. It beeps all the time. We constantly are opening the door to nothing in there, and then we look again in a day or two and it's full. No rhyme or reason!! I'm sick of it!! It cost as much as my Cafe Refrigerator and I'm so disappointed and sick that I spent so much money and it doesn't work. Now we are way past a warranty so what can I do now?

Ordered the Nugget Ice Maker UNC15NPRBII. Installed and the drain pump (ordered separately) ran non stop. Also, could not connect with the app. Did not make ice. Called for technician. Technician could not repair. Currently working with support for a replacement. Right now, if zero stars were an option that is what my rating would be.

I wish I could give this unit zero stars. Very loud, has already stopped working and parts are super expensive. Overall just a garbage product. And it's a shame because the ice is awesome.

Started making ice as soon as we plugged it in. Great nugget ice! After about 15 min it stops making ice and the lights blink continuously. Have unplugged and tried to reset using the buttons. To no avail. Tech coming out next week. Literally lasted 15 min before it malfunctioned.
