Definitely serves the purpose. Can't speak of the durability as it been only a week in which I have used it twice. But the connection has been seamless, helping me to connect my MacBook Pro to an HDMI projection.

Did not work at all. Tried on several different devices. Android, Google, Windows, and iPhone. Didn't work with anything. I got robbed.
