Gears of War 2 (Xbox 360)

Love almost every aspect of the game. story mode is excellent and multiplayer is mindblowing addictive! My only complaint comes from cheaters that use modem switches to mess with online multiplayer. maybe someday 360 can catch these guys and ban them from play. Other then that i look forward to new maps and endless nights of game play! thanks gears

the game was overall a very good game. i think the online play of the first one was better but this was still enjoyable. the story was longer and more interesting in this than the first one and the collectables were cooler than the cog tags. i recommend this as a buy if u want to get all the achievements. definatly worth it if ur into gears.

IF YOU LIKE GEARS OF WAR. YOU WILL BE BLOWN OUT OF THIS WORL WITH GEARS OF WAR 2. A VERY VERY VERY BAD *** GAME!! ITS BY FAR THE IN THE TOP 10 GAMES OUT THERE RIGHT KNOW. HAS VERY GOOD GRAPHICS AND COOL STORY LINE. AND THE ONLINE IS COOL TO BUT I PERFER BOT MATHES MY SELF. A GOOD GAME TO BUY AND OWN IN YOU GAME COLLECTION.

I jumped into the COG quite late by getting GOW une and I was BLOWN AWAY by every aspect of the gameplay. The campaign was crazy... But enough of GOW une on to Finishing the fight. Improvements across the board with new weapons new opponents, better graphics, more emotion and feeling from Delta Squad which makes them seem quite more human than they were in GOW 1. Online play is nuts but going in now isnt a walk in the park when you are pit against some true COGers Overall I would recomend this game in a heartbeat, however, I would get GOW 1 and immerse yourself in the Gears universe

The game was incredible. Campaign was great, co-op is good as well as single player. The online multiplayer is great, although some of the weapons are a little off. Chainsaw is way to powerful, and a must use against other gamers. Shotgun is underpowered, and a dissappointment from the GOW1 shotty.

Got the game and a $10 gift certificate. Game arrived in the mail on the 7th. Awesome shipping and deal from Wal-Mart. The game itself is outstanding. Much more immersive and diverse than the original, GOW2 takes the best of Halo and GOW and makes a super game. A great story with outstanding characters and environments, weapons and vehicles. The movement makes sense, the fighting is less linear somehow, without over complicating it with tricky boards or treasure hunts. Great job with the new locust enemies. This game is brilliant.

Excellent game. Nothing bad to say except terrible lobby times for the online play. The best game of 2008.

This game is awesome. The campaign is very interesting and gets you into it. The live is great it is very hard at first but once you get good its very fun. And Horde is AWESOME

Well for starters let me just say that this game is great, no matter what. However, no game is perfect. The campaign for this game is good, no real complaints there, and leaves a lot left to be desired for gears of War 3. The co-op again is good. Horde is the best feature for this game. Although, the name is a tad confusing. When I first heard of Horde I expected locusts to actually run up tp you immediatly, but no. They spawn and just wait, and if you don't do it in a designated time, then they start running at you. The mulitplayer is downright horrible. The lancer is over powered it is not even funny. The shot gun is no longer powerful, and the chain saw is now the close quarter combat battles. It is nearly impossible to find a match in muliplayer. On average (out of 10 matches), it takes approx. 6 min to find EACH match. This is my review of Gears of War 2.

Got this game when it came out, but had no real motivation or time to play before now. I sat down, put in the disc and launched myself into the game...the same game I could swear I played when GOW first came out. As you might expect, I became disinterested relatively fast. The game failed to give me a "wow" factor, in that at no point during playing it did I want to continue. In fact I felt a growing urge to throw the game out the window...I did not, but I did sell it to Gamestop. Don't buy this game unless you want to play nearly the exact same thing as before....As for better or worse than halo 3...both were abismal in my opinion. Stick to something good like COD4.
