Gearwrench Ratcheting Wrench Set 90 Tooth 12 Point Metric Reversible 16Pc

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a huge fan of flex head wrenches and never would have imagined of needing a set of non flex reversible ratcheting wrenches until now. This set was used as my primary wrench set for a month as an automotive technician and I don't see it leaving the drawer it's in. The offset on the ratcheting side is perfect fitting anywhere I needed it to without having the lever get in the way. At times the lever did get stuck when attempting to reverse and I would have to pull the wrench off the fastener to reverse it but it might just need a break in period. The open end side of the wrench has groves in the jaws that worked surprisingly well on all the fasteners I removed. One thing that stood out to me is the high viz orange in the numbers. It is a huge plus when reaching for a specific wrench in a cart scattered with tools. The ratcheting side never failed and the 90 tooth is great but I didn't see much of a difference coming from the 72 tooth. I don't go easy on my work tools so at times when I had to get the job done they were put through excessive abuse and all that can be seen is some nicks in the chrome. No bends, no broken teeth, and most importantly no stripped bolts. I would definitely recommend adding this to your collection.

This set is also used often with most fasteners being metric sized and there have been no signs of fatigue or damage. (Even having been dropped) This product really helped move repairs along by being able to ratchet the fastener on or off at the effortless flip of a switch. This set is durable against high torque applications like the SAE sister set. These wrenches surpassed my expectations due to being able to put a high amount of torque on the ratcheting mechanism without failure. Some of the wrenches have been dropped from heights up to 20 feet and they show very little signs of wear and fatigue. These wrenches are a much needed added convenience and are, more often than not, the right tool for the job. They are used everyday and the ratcheting mechanism has not faltered in any way. These wrenches are worth having in your tool arsenal and are made out of quality material. You will not be disappointed with them.

This ratcheting wrench set has 16 pieces with a ratchet at one end and a fixed wrench at the other. The wrenches go from 8mm to 25mm. I prefer the ratcheting end because it's faster and easier to use and fits in spots that the fixed end may not be used easily to loosen or tighten. The ratchet fits on any length bolt or threaded rod. The 90 tooth design make it easy to move the wrench in a tight spot.

The lower profile boxed end lets you get the wrench into tighter spaces than the old ratcheting wrench set I have. The set includes wrenches from 8mm to 25mm ensuring you have the tool you need. The high visibility number markings are also a huge plus for me. I also like that the metric and SAE versions of these wrenches are in racks that fit side by side in the tool box.

No need to flip the wrench over ... their reversible! No matter how you get the wrench in there or against something something the offset becomes a huge benefit. Very complete set for the diy'er to the master tech! 8mm to 25mm! And lets not forget the numbers are colored in!

It includes 8mm-25mm sizes that covers just about anything you will run into working on a vehicle. The orange paint in the number marking really helps to read the size and they feel comfortable in my hand. I found the 15 degree offset helped when getting at the bolt in the seat track when I was removing the seat in my vehicle. Also a really helpful feature is the lever to reverse the ratcheting of the wrench as I got carried away and got the wrench stuck in the seat track and had to retighten the bolt some to get the wrench out and then finish the job of with open end of the wrench. A great addition to my tool collection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great everyday wrenches they feel quality and can be used on just about anything. I've already torture tested some of them on tractor brakes and they held up great. The reversible function is great as my old set didn't have this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a high quality 16 piece reversible metric wrench set from 8mm to 25mm (skips 20mm and 23mm) . The 90 tooth gears feel good in the hand while ratcheting. It's not the most fine but the clicks feel solid and satisfying, definitely a step up from the 72 tooth wrenches. The length of the wrenches is perfect, a bit longer than your standard set but not a long pattern design. The reverse switch is one of my favorite parts, it's the perfect size and easy to manipulate. Switching back and forth feels awesome it's a really solid feel, you know it's locked in the position you want. Overall the finish on the wrenches is top notch, all of the markings look good. The color in the size stampings is awesome, it makes it super easy to identify sizes quickly and just makes the wrenches look really good. The yellow markings on the metric set really stand out, the yellow just pops and looks great. Lastly the rack it comes with is decent but nothing special. It would work to just throw in your tool box but the wrenches are a bit stiff to get in and out of the slots. It works perfectly as a carrying case though if you want to be able to just grab a full rack and go. Overall this is a premium wrench set that looks just as good as it performs, you won't be disappointed.
