Excatly what it describes. well constructed and easy to use. water came out crystal clear with no PPM at all. great price and delivered quickly
Nice little setup. The water tastes great! Would buy again.
item was exactly as described. Included instructions made setup and installation amazingly easy. Great seller.
Perfect for a home grower or Brewer my local water has chloramine and a natural pH of around 7.65. This water filter naturally brings it down to about 5.7. They could supply common fittings for connections given that the actual fittings are so cheap. The one that says by with this item is not the correct fitting for a garden hose, GHT thread and it produces more waste water than scrubbed water. So if you're paying A water bill you're gonna wanna make sure you don't forget and leave it on wasting water
Great looking and tasting, fresh filtered water for a small investment of both time and money. I use it to fill 5 gallon jugs for my 50 and 100 gallon aquariums. Installed under my sink in a few hours i let the filtered water and waste water tubes remain open-ended and when I have time i simply pull them out from under the sink place one in the jug and the other down the sink drain and start filtering water. I suggest adding a female/female 1/4" push lock ball valve in the supply line to turn the ro system off and on with ease.
Ive not got the item yet. but just the haggle that i went through (via shipping carrier) and help from Rosie, who took it upon herself to help a frazzled me, deserves at minimum 4-Star rating! whether its a good product or not, is between me and the company at this point. But, i have firm belief that it will work splendidly!
It's a nice compact unit. Does a good job of taking my water from ~100ppm to less than 10. Brings the ph down over half a point as well to the low to mid 7s. It's horribly slow and inefficient, with 2 parts waste water to one part RO. I'm familiar enough with plumbing that I didn't need any instructions, but I'd say the instructions are lacking for people without any experience hooking this up in a permanent installation. It works well for my needs, takes about 1.5 hours to convert 5 gallons of RO. I bought some pipe fitting adapters to enable me to hook it directly to a water hose bib and keep it all in a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. Unsure where to buy replacement filters, although it seems for the cost, it's probably more affordable to just to buy an entire unit than source replacement filters. The selling point for me was the cost. The included hardware has poor machining. I only used the valve and tubing included. I wanted to see if using RO water would benefit my needs before committing to a more expensive and efficient unit with easy to find replacement filters. I didn't expect much, but I'm happy with the purchase and will continue to use this unit until my needs for RO change.
I wanted to use it exclusively for our refrigerator water and ice cube dispenser. When filling up a 8 ounce glass of water without the system it took 6 seconds. After installation it took 30 seconds. Reached out to the manufacturer for help and advise, got a response.
Item arrived in shrink wrapped bag. Inside padding was 2 squares of foam. Box was open and torn.. parts were unprofessionally repacked. No instructions so it is not possible to tell if parts are missing. My guess is I will return it after Christmas.right now it's a placeholder for a gift and probably a conversation about the junk on the internet these days on the plus side, the filter housings appeared clean. So clean in fact that the label was falling off of one of them.
Rubber seal to RO filter would not seal,, used Teflon tape on threads
