Great value, easy set up, works great. Cheap enough to use in so many places. We have had water detectors for years.. Saved us money for sure in previous years to use water alarms and price is cheaper than they were years ago. .We use under out central AC Unit, in the hot water heater closet. Great behind toilet and under the water supply line for two types of leak. Getting more for gifts. Great under your sinks, washing machine or anywhere water is in the house. These detect well! This had a bonus of a top drip detector that I discovered while reading directions. place under drain pipes for double notification type. This type is not wifi. ONLY complaint is that the instrction manual print is so tiny I had to use contacts, readers, and a magnifying glass to read. so, To use pull the clear tab if any and sit flat to operate. For my check of the unit, Stick a barely damp finger on top of the slash area to test but not too damp. it has to be dry to stop alarming. Then I put a few drops of water in a plate and sit the unit on top of it to check. Dry off to stop alarm.

I put these randomly in the basement, under the sinks and in the washing machine and dishwasher pans. Tested just fine, not sure how long the included batteries will last. They are loud but be sure to line up the hole in the screw-on lid with the piezoelectric siren or you'll muffle the output.

My dishwasher sprung a leak and I had water coming through the garage ceiling. Ugh. Cracked hose replaced and bought these to monitor for the next leak. I like these as they are simple, they detect water and alarm. The last thing I need is to tie my water detectors into my wifi. I tested each with a pan and added water until the alarm sounded and placed two under the dishwasher. Since I never run my dishwasher unless I'm home this type is perfect. And if you had the wireless variety and weren't home what would you do anyway?

The water alarms each come with battery, they are easy to set up. The alarm is very sensitive and loud! We have them for our home and referred them to others. Price and ease to set up well worth it.

It worked like a charm, had a slight water leak under the sink and it was fixed. The alarm went off to let us know there was a problem. We caught it without any damage.

Had an issue with one of these items and the company was wonderful to work with. Great communication and customer service.

Got these leak detectors to put around trouble areas like hot water heater, furnace, washing machine. Places that have drains that could overflow. Very reasonable price. No test button, but very easy to test, just put on a plate with a tiny bit of water and it goes off , take it out of the water and it stops. Will think about getting one with an app.

not deafining loud but still loud. Just put the battery in and they are ready to go. I like these and would recommend them. I later got more [different] sensors that connected to WiFi, then sent messages to my phone. Those are really great, very easy to set up. The above were put in our condominium building. Either are great. Others in the condo building can hear these. The ones I privately bought allow me to monitor things when I'm away.

Hard to review this item. It did not suit my purpose at all.The item description was not complete enough to inform me that this item was basically useful for a flood of water not a leak. Amount of water needed to set it off has to be at least 1/4" or more so it is not suitable for small leaks.

Although I appreciate the ease of installing the batteries which were included, unfortunately there is no indication light on these to let you know when the batteries are no longer active. I was told that I would have to take the alarm and place it in water to determine if the batteries are still working. This defeats the purpose of having these alarms. Wish I would have returned them and ordered another kind that provided an indication of battery power.
