I was somewhat apprehensive about purchasing the floor mat without an in person inspection but I am very pleased with it. It was a gift for my mother and replaced an earlier version she had of the same brand. It's attractive and most importantly makes her time at the kitchen sink more comfortable.
I have a couple of Gelpro mats in my kitchen that I purchased almost 10 years ago. They are still working fine. This one is for my office when I am standing at my desk. I actually like it better! The technology has apparently improved over the years. I love these and would recommend them to anyone. Well worth the investment.
With all the other we were constantly cleaning them because their pattern did not hide the normal dirt from the kitchen floor. My wife is a clean nut and it was driving her crazy. So not only are these Camo Color mats unique, they gave a great accent to her kitchen. We both love them. Super nice under foot too!
These mats are terrific! The memory foam makes it so easy to work in our kitchen without foot fatigue. The beveled edges will prevent tripping on the mat.
More maintenance than I anticipated....requires constant cleaning to avoid appearing spotty... Also I didn't know in advance about issues with heels....this is not a problem for me, but if u have a party are u going to tell everyone to take off their shoes?
I bought these mats because I was looking for a good anti fatigue mat that did not move. I was getting tired of constantly having to reposition my old mats. My space requires two pretty long mats. In the size I need, I feel these mats are way overpriced. I have had them a month now and they still do not sit completely flat on the floor, and I am still having to constantly reposition them as they slide as well. Overall, They are made pretty well and feel good when standing on them. But, for the price that I paid, I am disappointed that I am constantly having to reposition them.
I bought a 108" GelPro mat. I love the mat, and how it feels... BUT I can't stand that it keeps sliding around my hardwood floors and never stays put. It drives me nuts! I know that GelPro sells little stickies to hold in place but they get terrible reviews online, so I didn't purchase them. Rug gripper sheets don't work. Scotch brand stickies don't work. I am not willing to damage my hardwood floors for this. So, right now, I am disappointed that I have to constantly move the mat into the place I need it, not to mention safety issue of moving when you step on it. Bummer, they are expensive and I want to be happy about this purchase.
I like the mat because it is very comfortable, looks nice, and is easy to clean. However, for the price I paid (which also included shipping costs to Canada), this mat should have been designed to stay in place. It slides around way too much and because of this it is out of place more than it's in the position that I find aesthetically pleasing in my kitchen.
This is an attractive color and pattern, but we were disappointed with the quality. We didn't realize this was a lesser quality product. Apparently, the Gel Pro Elite is their top level product. This line is a bit smaller, the corners don't lie flat, and it costs less. If quality is your main concern, then I would recommend the Gel Pro Elite. We had them for years and were very happy with them.
I can't complain about the comfort of the pad but there's just no way to keep it static in position and that's frustrating. I bought the Gel Pro pads-- they're useless. I'm disappointed overall because the paf itself is quite comfortable.
