Generac GP Series 3600 Watt Max Gas Powered Camping Rolling Portable Generator

Bought my Generac from Weston Trawick and they set me up and tested it. 2 days later power went out for 6 hours. Cranked right up! Thank you, Weston Trawick,!

Generac is one of the best rated generators on the market. There was damage to the generator. I called Sam's Support and they were exceptional. Great customer service and responded to my concerns and issues. They scheduled the pickup of the first damaged generator and scheduled the shipment of the replacement. The second generator arrived and there was slight damage to the generator case but I did not reject the generator. Shipment was by UPS. I ordered from Sam's because of their reputation and we purchase products locally. It do say that Sam's Support is fantastic! I did start the generator and it works great.

Originally purchased unit from a general distributor. The product did not work as it should. Spent months trying to get that resolved. The process was gruesome and useless. Finally after months & hours of my time a resolution was determined to replace the unit with a new one. This unit appears to perform as advertised and expected. So long story short, replacement made but after months of aggravation. Not what I ever bargained for.

In reality, I only used this for about 20 minutes when the power came back on. This replaces a very old generator that had half the power. Aside from it working well, I can certainly say this generator is deafeningly-loud. Keeping it outside means you typically won't be bothered by it, but it makes you wonder if they could have improved the muffler.

Bought GP8000E in Feb 2025. Only had to use 4 times, had no problems until now June 20, 2025. Now one of the GFCI output units keeps tripping after 7 seconds with nothing plugged into it. The reset button keeps popping out. Tried pushing the reset button also. The GFCI is bad, this problem should not be happening after only 4 uses. The unit is only 5 months old. Generac reports they have none of these GFCI units in stock and do not know when they will be available to ship. Generac service dealer tells me I need to leave the unit with them and possibly in 2 to 6 weeks they may get an new GFCI unit. UNBELIEVABLE !!!

Motor runs well, but there is a problem with the power board. I have no power. More stuff for me to do, to make sure this thing will work. No fun.

Unit was defected. No output power. None of authorized shop recommend can fix it. Could not refund to due to crazy FleetFarm policy. Running around for 2 weeks trying to get it fix. Loss $20 to drain gas not cover by warranty. Terrible experience. Don't recommend it.

Purchased this portable generator, had a problem with it after 15 min. of running.. Called for assistance and No One would come to my house to repair it. They only would come if it was a standby generator. I like Generac Products but my was 450 pounds and I could not service it myself. Plus it was under warranty.

its a piece of junk right out of the box..they keep giving me the run the around.dont buy a generac..has 9.2 hours on it and wont start.do not buy a generac of any kind this is 2 generators now.both are junk

Terrible motor blew in less than 2 months! Warranty voided terrible generator even worse the fake warranty! Complete disappointing experience 😪
