runs quiet
Don't like the door opener. It acts like it wants to hurt your hand or fingers. My previous micro wave oven had a handle on the door to pull open. My care giver does not like to use the new model. She suggests I get another micro wave that has a safe door opening system.

Good oven, hard to read control panel
Functionally, this oven is fine. It also fits the space perfectly and looks good. The biggest downside is I can't read the text in the control panel due to the reflection of the counter on the panel. I can live with this, but it's the reason for 3 stars and not 5.

Almost started on fire
Haven't had it that long and last night hubby went to microwave Left overs and the whole thing started making loud screeching sounds and started sparking . So grateful it wasn't one of the kids using it. Never again and I'm telling all my friends

Poor quality microwave - look elsewhere
Bought this in November. In December the light that comes on when in use or when the door is open quit working. In January, the turntable began making a rumbling sound while turning. It still works, but what a poor product for GE to have it's once proud name on it. Very disappointed.

The loudest microwave I've ever heard.
Very loud, the interior burns ,and finally yesterday it sparked and burned a whole in the plate as my granddaughter was heating up food.
