Solid product. Excellent cooling

463xo July 30, 2025

This unit is cooling the area very well. It is noise than expected. Installation was actually very easy. Utility cost are less with the greater btu capacity. Haven't used the heating yet but hoping it works as well as the cooling.

Wifi issues

Buddha55 August 31, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The air conditioner works fine but the wifi will not stay connected to the network. I have had to.connect it multiple times. Other products stay connected, so it is not a wifi issue.

Like it a lot.

deanabobeana April 20, 2025

Overall, I like it a lot. It is nosier than I expected. Also, I wish it did not cycle on and off on the heat cycle.

Loud

Italianmermaid November 29, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happy that GE replaced my defective unit however I was t left any paperwork/ warranty information/ instructions for use. In addition, the indicator doesn't stay lit and I can't reach the buttons without a stool. It's not the same Style. It doesn't blow that well but it sure is loud.

Inaccurate, loud when used for heating

KeithinChicago December 16, 2025

This is being used to heat a bedroom of approximately 200 sq ft in an apartment in Chicago. While it is really fast and effective when engaged to heat the area, it is wildly inaccurate in getting the room temperature right. I can set the temperature at 66f, and it will heat the room anywhere from 72f to 75f. Since it is a small room, the really noisy fan is so loud that I need to turn up the volume on the tv substantially. I have the unit shut off and I am using a space heater instead, which struggles to heat this room because the GE unit lets in a substantial amount of cold air when it isn't actually cycled on to provide heat, so I now have the unit covered with a heavy blanket. This unit is substantially smaller and newer than the large GE heater/ac unit in my living room which is just as effective at heating and produces practically no noise. As a globally recognized brand in appliances (both GE and Haier), this is a remarkably disappointing product.

Bad design

Dook November 17, 2025

Although the owner's manual says otherwise, this unit has no adjustable ventilation port. While in heating mode, when the unit cycles off, frigid air from outside blows in causing the unit to shortly cycle back on. This model is virtually useless during the winter months.
