General Electric GE® model GTW465ASNWW 4.5 cu. ft. Top Load Washer with Stainless Steel Basket

Since purchasing this product, I've had nothing but issues with it. Do not try to wash more than four bath towels. Do not try to make a large load. Do not do not wash a comforter in there. This washing machine is not made for any of that even though it's a large we've had a repairman at our house many times - they've replaced a sensor. They keep replacing the springs and I still have issues. The washing machine works fine for a few months after they leave and then it's not working anymore. The washing machine will fill, and then it will agitate and the water is gone and all that is left in the basket is my clothes and the agitator running with no water. I cannot tell you all the money I'm wasting and the time I'm wasting on this washing machine I have to be home to make sure the wash is working or I will ruin more clothes than I've already ruined. I have already ruined a set of sheets and I have frayed towels and comforters, even though they're done in a bulky cycle they are getting ruined. Whenever there's no more water in the basket, I stopped the cycle it drains and then I switch to drain the whole bucket. I've wasted more soap and more water than I can even understand because I have to unplug the washer. Let it sit overnight and plug it in again, so it is restarted and it may work. I have to run a whole new cycle again.. This is ridiculous. I am grateful I have an extended warranty, but I've had this issue for more than a year probably three years now I have to wait for decent sale to get a new washing machine. I've had to go to the laundromat, I've had to go to friends houses to use their washer because it'll stop at the most inopportune time while washing something I need immediately. Do not buy this washer.

We received the washer, and it was damaged with 3 dents. We immediately contacted customer service for a replacement. We were told that they could not send a replacement, but that I could reorder the washer. Since the purchase, the price had gone up by approximately $100.00. I asked for the washer price to be refunded, so that I could purchase a new one and was told that Walmart would not refund the cost until it was picked up and processed. So, I asked when they would pick it up. I was told that I would be contacted by the shipping company in 1-2 days to schedule the pick up. After waiting for 2 days without any contact, I called customer service back. They told me that the return had not even been started and that the C.S. rep. apparently did not understand the correct process. This time the C.S. rep. scheduled the pick up while I waited on hold. I still have to wait another week for it to be picked up and for the refund process to be started! Meanwhile, I had to purchase another washer (definitely NOT from Walmart), and schedule that delivery with more time lost, and commit another large sum of money to this process! This situation is all because Walmart is not honoring their promise of sending quality merchandise and providing appropriate customer service when mistakes are made. I would recommend that anyone interested in a large purchase, NOT depend on Walmart backing up their merchandise.

Not even 6 years and it doesn't work. Drive went out and now it doesn't wash of spin. These companies make a cheap throw away products so you have to buy one every few years.

This washer is the best. It functions how a real washer should and the features are great. I love that the lid is only locked during spinning instead of from the beginning of the wash, to the end of the wash. I am able to open the lid during a wash to add an item to the washer if needed. Also, I love that there is a deep fill option to add extra water in the wash. Plus, the multiple choices of water levels that actually cover the cloths with water. In addition, I love the many options of wash type, water temperatures, extra rinse, spin, and soak that this machine offers. The large stainless steel tub is fantastic and finally this washer does amazing at getting the clothes clean. The washer was delivered ahead of schedule, which was great. The only two negatives were: 1. the washer arrived with a dent, which it appeared to be the shippers fault from the condition of the packaging, and 2. The shippers were not allowed to bring the item into the house, which was an inconvenience and a challenge, but I was able to get help to get it into the house. Overall, I love the product. Now, the longevity of the machine is my what I am expecting.

I waited over a week for the washer, and it came with the screen cracked. I called walmart, they only offered a refund, no replacement option, and not until its shipped back to them and inspected wich will take over a week, so im either left without a washer or paying brand new price for a broken one. As a single mother, I dont have time to wait for over a week with no washer and no money!! Unacceptable!!!

It does not spin well. When washing clothes. I have to end up bringing them out by hand when finish even after two spins

I love the washer, it does what it’s suppose to do, but when it was delivered it was damaged with dents I can live with that, but I would think they should offer you more that $25.00 credit on Walmart.com, the sad thing was I had done already ditched my old one.

The machine is damaged and leaking upon first use. It's possible that one of these is the issue: damaged tub seals, faulty water line connections, broken water level switches, malfunctioning tub cover gaskets, or damaged seals between the drain hose and water pump. Not worth the hassle
