General Electric Ge Univ Remote, 4dev Brushed Silver

This remote is very slim and extremely lightweight, especially for one with 4 device functions. There are fewer buttons/functions on this remote, which was perfect for me. I have this as a replacement remote for a Hisense 55" 3D HDTV, and it worked the basics right out of the box without even programming it. (Have to program, otherwise certain buttons will function improperly). The buttons are easy to access with one hand, which I like better. I hate pressing the wrong button, or two buttons at once with other remotes I've used. Very comfortable and easy to use. Great for an inexpensive replacement when you don't need extra fancy buttons etc! If there is a way to push a sequence of buttons in order to access the Netflix & Vudu apps on the television, that would be the icing on the cake. If anybody knows, email me please!

don't waste your money on RCA universal remote, none of them worked for my apple tv. Then just by chance, I tried this GE with no expectations, finally got everything to work!!

I purchased this particular remote to be able to control certain features on my used Daewoo TV which did not come with a remote. It was fairly simple to program, and I'm considering programming it for additional features. I think it is a great value for a little over $10.00!

Was upset when I bought my 12 year old his first small flat screen. He lost the remote 5 minutes after opening the box and had to run back to Walmart to find a universal remote so we could change the input to HDMI. Tried a cheap little Rca remote that did not work. Decided I would give this one a try and I was honestly very surprised it worked!!!!

Just what I wanted: works great - easy to program

Love this. We have two. It is very light, easy to program and looks good. It works great. We have a LG and a Samsung and it works well on both of them.

Couldn't find my remote for over a week after having a toddler in the house. Ran to Walmart and picked up this universal remote. Put in the batteries and expected to spend the next 30 minutes programming the thing. Instead it INSTANTLY started working on my TV after I turned on the power. I went around and used it on the other 2 TV's and it worked on them as well. I did nothing other than turn the power on. LOVE THIS THING

I like the slim design. Most of my devices work, but not my Roku3. I input the two codes that are shown in the instructions, but neither worked.

Only able to turn TV on, off and switch channels. Unable to switch from TV to HDMI.

I was unable to make it control my set-top cable decoder box and although I was able to set up my TV, not all of the functions were available.
