General Electric In-Wall Digital Timer, Indoor and Outdoor, White, 5in, 53222, 0 Amps

We have outlets in the eaves of our home that are controlled by a light switch. I swapped it out with this in wall timer and I was able to set the timer and forget it this Christmas. Our lights always came on and turned off without any worries. Loved the fact there was a cover to hide the mechanics and liked that the switch can be used as a normal switch and turned on and off by simply pressing the closed cover. Even bought one for my parents and they loved it as well! Highly recommend!

It was easy to install and it is working correctly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this on my outdoor LED floodlight. I was able to set the timer to an evening and a morning time. Very easy to set. Plus I can turn it on and off with just the press of the cover and not disturb the pre-set times. It is very well made and should last forever. I have always been satisfied with GE quality. I have a white switch cover and used the white one, but it also comes with an almond one should you desire to use that. The only suggestion I have is if you are putting in a new box for this switch install a deep one as the back of the switch is rather large and it would be nice to have more room for the wires. I was able to get it in a regular size box.

I set it up for my porch light I have it come on around dusk and go off around 10 or 11 pm that way I don't forget to turn it on or off when we go out or come back home at night.

The buttons are labelled clearly and are easy to press. The digital display makes it easy for viewing during any time of day. The timer is intuitive in design and fits into my wall seamlessly. This device has sunrise/sunset times built in to it and makes it useful for daily use. Programming is much easier than any other switch of its type. The process consists of putting in the day, date, select automatic daylight savings time adjustment, and finally choose from three geographic locations. This is a great upgrade from my existing timer technology and I would recommend this to others.

I can set it to cut lights off for me to cut lights on as well as other things. I will definitely be installing these in the primary areas of my house this product is awesome.

The quality is not what I expected

IT DIDN'T WORK. Hired electrician to set up the timer this weekend and the device didn't work. I mean NO POWER (no indicator light or power light or set up indicator). He tested the inline power and it worked, so the lack of power up was in the unit.

Doesn't work so I'm returning it. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.
