My 13inch TV has been sitting idle, not being used . I don't want to sign up for cable. I purchased this antenna and now I can't get many channels, including the main ones (ABC, CBS, NBC) over air with this device. I am truly amazed. This is more advanced than the old rabbit ears of years ago. Thank you for advanced technology.
I like this OTA antennae so much, I bought two! The reception is great! It has a magnet on the bottom of it that sticks to my door when we are having bad storms. I like to put it outside for better reception. It has a very long cord. I have one antennae in my living room and one in my bedroom. If I had another TV, I'd definitely order another one.
Easy assembly and clear pictures. I'm getting the same local channels and few other channels that were not included with Cox standard black box. I was also paying $84 monthly. This antenna was less than $12 dollars and no more monthly bills. Well worth the price!!
well worth the money.got 40 channels on Baltimore city so it was all the basic channels and some.very grateful for it so I can watch all the ravens games cause my smart TV with built in antenna couldn't pick up regular stations which is wild to me lol.anyways I would buy this again and will referral it to other people.great value
Previously, I used a flat antenna that I stuck to the wall, and the signal was very weak. Since I bought this GE antenna, the signal has become much stronger, and I can watch many more channels. And it's very affordable, only $10, so I wanted to recommend it to everyone.
This little omni directional TV antenna works surprisingly well, at least in my circumstances. All my stations use UHF frequencies as carriers and are withing 20 miles of flat terrain. Check your predicted reception on sites like rabbitears.info or antennaweb.org to get an idea of what signal strength you might expect. If your stations use UHF carriers (Channel 14 and above) and are within 20 miles, this antenna just might work for you. Many TV Channels have gone to UHF carriers, but kept their old channel numbers. So, stations which display what would have been a VHF channel (2-13) in the old days might actually be transmitting on a different channel. For example, in my area, Channel 11 is actually transmitting on channel 31. An advantage of this antenna is being omni directional. Unlike many inexpensive flat panel indoor antennas, it doesn't have to be pointed at the station. Just set it on the window sill, shelf, or whatever and it will pick up the station or it won't. No fiddling with pointing. The disadvantage is that it won't pick up stations as far away in one direction as the flat panel.
I love this style of antenna. You can easily move it to achieve the best reception, and it has a magnetic base, so you can put self-adhesive metal plates (for magnetic door closers) on top of the TV on both sides of the TV, and it will stay on top until you need to move it also the reception is far better than you would expect for such a small antenna
I would like to remind you if your reading this that it only goes 20 miles out I bought this cause why not it's only 10 bucks well couldn't pick up any channels honestly disappointed tried multiple tvs didnt matter nothing worked just gonna have to return
This antenna is hard to place . It would be better if I could hang it up on the wall to find more channels. . I didn't find as many channels as I would like and I would NOT order another one like this one
Horrible reception. The channels that it says it's funding are unsteady and have a two second delay (buffering) makes it work like it's an old school gaming system. The mileage radius is inaccurate and should read, maybe a mile. Overall it's a cheaper version of cheap
