We ordered "General Hydroponics CALiMAGic" With on thing in mind, (ROSES) Yes those beautiful and spectacular Sweet smelling marvels or Nature. Here in Colorado Roses required a fair amount of Calcium to grow. So we stumbled across this magic potion of a Flower Whisperer. We filled our Watering Containers with the Fantastic substance and some water, and started to pour over our roses. (9) in total. Mostly Standard Rose Bushes. Some DNA altered (blue) roses. I have gotta say, This allowed consistent flowering, Large and Supremely colorful flowers, with an impeccable sweet Rose smell, It will like a nectar from the Gods. The roses ate it up, Loving there lives and Showing it. Sparkling with Inspiration and love for all to see. This product was simply amazing, and my roses love it. I would highly recommend this product for anyone with Roses that just want more fragrance, larger blooms and healthier appearances. You Flower garden with thank you. (Comparing to miracle grow Calcium, Granular) ~ To be honest there is a Difference, not only do you have to use this product more often then the (bone meal mixture) With would be a con. But with this formula, using it around once every 2 - 4 weeks, You will see a significant difference in flowering Blooms and buds, as well as smell. So it may be a bit more tedious, which for a rose lover would not be an issue, since we prune off Old buds and Value Kitchen or Living space flower arrangements. Off Brands do offer a positive For calcium I just feel like this has a few extra chemicals that help the roses flourish more. They are all #5 Roses Healthy and with this came back from winter with a vengeance.
This product is truly amazing. The results are always positive and immediately noticeable. It is very versatile and convenient and works on all types of growing medium. The bottle is huge and gives you so much for your money. It's also concentrated so a little goes a long way. I use reverse osmosis filtered water which strips a lot (if not all) of the nutrients and minerals needed for the plants. Adding this solution back into the water is essential for a plant to grow heathy and strong. I also always add it to the coco before planting to give my plants a great start. Use this with every watering to give your plants proper care and feeding especially if you have yellow leaves (magnesium deficiency) or yellow/green spotting This solution will fix those issues. It also works great on my garden plants with a foliage spray once a week. Another good tip is to soak your plants once a week and put some around the roots to promote growth and vitality. I definitely recommend this product.
I got General Hydroponics CALiMAGIC in a 1-Quart bottle. It is a concentrated blend of calcium and magnesium and is used to prevent secondary nutrient deficiencies in fast growing plants. It has worked great on my plants so far. I'm using it for my tomato plants. I haven't had any issues with it clogging my sprayer or anything. I will continue to use it. So far, I am very happy with it and will be using on my lettuce and other plants too. I definitely recommend it. It's a great price and value too.
The only fertilizer I use is Calimagic because it is formulated to assist fast growing plants by preventing secondary nutrient deficiencies. My tomatoes, and lettuce seem to grow much faster with this and it really helps with bottom rot. I get to keep way more of my veggies when I use this so it makes me happy. I would buy and recommend again and again! It's easy to use as well with just a teaspoon of the liquid per watering.
I was hoping to get this a few weeks ago when I planted my seeds. No bother. It will still get used. I chose this supplement because it can be used in various mediums. Hydroponics, soil and coco. My use would have started with the coco starters but I got this too late. Per the bottle is said after diluting you could wet the coco medium down. My squash tend to suffer bloom rot and end rot part way through the season no matter how often I feel like I try to fertilize. It mentions it can be used on tomatoes and lettuce as well. Lettuce is a new one to me. The quart bottle is going to last for ages for how I plan to use it. It mentions 1 teaspoon in a gallon of water. It mentions using it the first 2 weeks. I wish the instructions were more detailed. After 2 weeks for example, can I still give my plants a diluted form in the middle of summer while growing in my garden soil? Maybe the negative to this review is that I will have to do some research on this type of product and how long I can safely keep giving it to my vegetables. I am always up for something new and to improve my produce. This bottle may be better served to a person that has a large business growing vegetables. My garden is about 20x40 feet so this bottle is going to last for years if it remains stable. There is no expiration date on it. Just says to keep in a cool dry place.
5 stars so far! I love that it's in a concentrated form. You can mix it according to your plants specific needs. It's a good sized container. If your like me and love to garden then it may not. Ha ha I will try to add or update as my garden grows. It's only the beginning of Spring here in Oregon so time will tell.
