Fun project with FloraGro

DoRDoR May 22, 2021

I am not much of a green thumb but since the pandemic, as most people have, I have started dabbling in growing some vegetables. With my limited space, I have tried hands on hydroponics. It's fun and challenging at the same time. It's like the Tamagotchi pet in the 90's where you have to attend to regularly to make sure it thrives. I used the FloraGro about 3 weeks ago on my hydroponics and it looks like the roots are liking them and my lettuce leaves are green and lush so far. This gallon goes quite far because you only need a teaspoon to a gallon of water for regular vegetation. It is 2-1-6 solution, which is 2 Nitrogen (this helps with leave growth), 1 Phosphorus (which helps with fruiting), and 6 Potassium (which helps with strengthening of the roots and trunks). It also has micronutrients that the plants need, so that's a plus. As you can tell, which the FloraGro solution, the emphasis is on healthy roots and trunk growth. My plan is as my plants mature, I may have to give it a solution that has bit more Nitrogen. And for those plants that are going to bear fruits, squash, or edibles, I intend to support it with plant nutrient that has more Phosphorus. I do think that the FloraGro is a good product to help establish strong roots, stems, and trunks. Once those are established, you will need additional Nitrogen and Phosphorus for your plants.

FloraGrow where have you been all my life!

JRader May 11, 2021

General hydroponics FlorGrow 1-1-6 gives plants nutrients. This comes in a one-gallon bottle. You will need to order FloraMicro and FloraBloom for the best results. I use this for our indoor plants. I make sure to research the different ratios based on the plants we have. Some need more nutrients than others. Some of my plants need very little and will die if you give the plant too much. So definitely do your research! We have flowers, pothos plants, money trees, and two fruit trees. I also have grapes as well that I grow outside. These have all worked great in keeping our plants and fruits healthy and happy. They're growing much better this year than they did last year because I started adding General Hydronics fertilizer as part of my plant maintenance routine. What a game-changer! I've heard you can also call the # on the bottle to get advice on how much to give to your plants. They know their plant stuff! Overall, this is a great product and I highly recommend it.

Great product

Moni513 April 16, 2021

This is great for fast growing plants. I started using it on plants whose leaves had yellow spots and it has helped tremendously. I also use it on a plant whose leaves started to wrinkle up and it has helped. I follow the proper product to water ratio and use it once a week on my plants. I highly recommend for fast growing plants.

Use it in my garden

MoparJeepGirl June 2, 2021

I've been using this General Hydroponics FloraGro in my backyard as a fertilizer and it's been working great. My plants are thriving. I'm growing a variety of different types with various needs but this product seems to do the trick for all of them. The directions are easy to follow for this product. It's great for hydroponics as well. This product is versatile and I'll be getting more of it for my fall garden as well.

Great!

LeiLana80 May 6, 2021

I hadn't ever used anything like this before- I tend to have a black thumb. My daughter and I have been wanting to grow sunflowers from seed, so we planted, used a little of this once it sprouted, and it shot up several inches in a week! As far as I'm concerned, this is amazing stuff. Now to keep the cats from munching away on our sprout....

This FloraGro gets results!

Savyshopper May 3, 2021

I've only been using this product for a little over 2 weeks and I see results already. I'm using it on my indoor plants as well on my outside potted vegetable plants. This is also the perfect booster for the cuttings that I root in water. You only need a small amount to add into water for watering the plants.

Unbelievable

Tracy00214 April 30, 2021

This past year I've really been learning how to garden - i have a few fruit bushes and tomato plants so far outside, and I wanted them to succeed so I tried this. It's like magic! I didn't realize just how much this stuff helps plants. It was doing so good outside I started watering my inside plants with it, and they are growing like weeds!! Normally there are only certain houseplants I can have and keep them healthy, but not anymore. Last week I picked up a giant umbrella plant and it look beautiful. Normally it would be dying right now, but all of my plants are so healthy. I'm looking for more and some unique planters. This stuff is amazing, so glad I tried it.

Nutrients for Happy Plants

ApplesOranges17 May 6, 2021

This is a gallon sized bottle of Flora Gro for Hydroponics. I'm using it in my garden because I'm not using Hydroponics just yet. It only takes a small amount to go in a gallon of water. The measures are posted on the bottle. It only takes 1 to 3 teaspoons of the green goodness in a gallon of water. Since I've just started using it for the first time, it hasn't been long enough to see the effect on plant health and growth. It does seem like an excellent product & I am expecting great results from FloraGro.

Great product

Debs April 19, 2021

This was very easy to mix up. I was concerned it would clog my sprayer like a lot of plant food does but I had no issues. It did not have a bad smell. Nice easy to open container. Excited to see how much my plants will grow with this! It should last a long time since not much is needed to mix with water. No tip burn on my plants and they seem to be doing very well. Hope to use this product regularly in my garden and also for my house plants.

A good value

Pmgr2 April 18, 2021

I have only been using this product for a short time so it hasn't been long enough for me to fully judge the impact on my plants. In general, it was super concentrated so it only took 1 teaspoon to mix with a gallon of water. At this rate it will last a very long time and is a good value. I plan to use it with all of my indoor plants to give them nutrients and help them grow.
