Quality Product

Other brands such as Fox Farm have a precipitate residue in the bottle. Never had this with General Hydroponics.

Amazing quality

Virgonicky59 May 17, 2021

This set of three types of fertilizer are great. We started growing tomatoes and other things becasue we wanted to save from going to the grocery store as much (and the home grown stuff tastes so much better) and used this as a starter and then throughout the growing. From flowers to vegetables this stuff has been great. I would recommend this and its related fertilizers.Works well and a little goes a long way

FloraGrow where have you been all my life!

JRader May 11, 2021

General hydroponics FlorGrow 1-1-6 gives plants nutrients. This comes in a one-gallon bottle. You will need to order FloraMicro and FloraBloom for the best results. I use this for our indoor plants. I make sure to research the different ratios based on the plants we have. Some need more nutrients than others. Some of my plants need very little and will die if you give the plant too much. So definitely do your research! We have flowers, pothos plants, money trees, and two fruit trees. I also have grapes as well that I grow outside. These have all worked great in keeping our plants and fruits healthy and happy. They're growing much better this year than they did last year because I started adding General Hydronics fertilizer as part of my plant maintenance routine. What a game-changer! I've heard you can also call the # on the bottle to get advice on how much to give to your plants. They know their plant stuff! Overall, this is a great product and I highly recommend it.

Great!

I hadn't ever used anything like this before- I tend to have a black thumb. My daughter and I have been wanting to grow sunflowers from seed, so we planted, used a little of this once it sprouted, and it shot up several inches in a week! As far as I'm concerned, this is amazing stuff. Now to keep the cats from munching away on our sprout....

Green Thumb

MaryjoB02 April 12, 2021

I'm an amateur gardener, but general hydroponics makes it easy to look professional. FloraGro helps with strong root systems for healthy plant growth. Low concentration of nutrients won't burn the plant, and low phosphorus is good because my soil has plenty and excess is a pollutant. It's simple to modify as needed for particular plants. This brand is the gold standard for hydroponics, but works super for other types of gardening.

Great product

Moni513 April 16, 2021

This is great for fast growing plants. I started using it on plants whose leaves had yellow spots and it has helped tremendously. I also use it on a plant whose leaves started to wrinkle up and it has helped. I follow the proper product to water ratio and use it once a week on my plants. I highly recommend for fast growing plants.

Fun project with FloraGro

DoRDoR May 22, 2021

I am not much of a green thumb but since the pandemic, as most people have, I have started dabbling in growing some vegetables. With my limited space, I have tried hands on hydroponics. It's fun and challenging at the same time. It's like the Tamagotchi pet in the 90's where you have to attend to regularly to make sure it thrives. I used the FloraGro about 3 weeks ago on my hydroponics and it looks like the roots are liking them and my lettuce leaves are green and lush so far. This gallon goes quite far because you only need a teaspoon to a gallon of water for regular vegetation. It is 2-1-6 solution, which is 2 Nitrogen (this helps with leave growth), 1 Phosphorus (which helps with fruiting), and 6 Potassium (which helps with strengthening of the roots and trunks). It also has micronutrients that the plants need, so that's a plus. As you can tell, which the FloraGro solution, the emphasis is on healthy roots and trunk growth. My plan is as my plants mature, I may have to give it a solution that has bit more Nitrogen. And for those plants that are going to bear fruits, squash, or edibles, I intend to support it with plant nutrient that has more Phosphorus. I do think that the FloraGro is a good product to help establish strong roots, stems, and trunks. Once those are established, you will need additional Nitrogen and Phosphorus for your plants.

Grow plants

Tanharris4 May 12, 2021

I used this on my plant that I have. It's a White Peace Lily. I don't think enough time has gone by in using the FloraGro to see if it works with my plant or not. Hopefully it does because I would love to see flowers on my Peace Lily. The directions are clear and easy to follow.

Great product

Edlalo April 28, 2021

The item came as expected, and the bottle and the package came securely. The bottle comes with the instructions on how to use it and how much you need. The bottle came in smaller than I expected, but you only put a small amount of it which makes it save more. With this, the plants are looking healthier and well nourished.
