General Kiki's Gluten-Free Vegan Chocolate Cake Mix, 15 oz

This cake mix is the best GF, vegan mix I've ever tasted. it's not grainy or milly in texture at all. it's super moist and perfect for making cupcakes or simply a yummy, tasty cake. My favorite way to use this mix is to make them into cupcakes and top them with a vegan buttercream and add GF Oreos. so yummy! I HIGHLY recommend this product. It can be really hard to find though... but it's worth the work!

This cake is delicious and very moist. The texture is good, it's not super chocolatey but chocolate frosting would help with that - I like it without frosting just fine. Easy to mix up and it was done in 30 mins. Cooled in 15 mins

this chocolate cake GF is a delight, dark chocolate flavor with a substantial texture you can chew on. I had to search to find it but when i did i bought 6 packages.

This cake is DELICIOUS. it's VERY moist. I paired it with philsbury chocolate fudge icing and was in love. Even my boyfrind who isn't vegan liked it. Although, the instructions said it'd take 30 minutes to bake and it was at least 40. Also, I am on the toilet with the runs and have been for the past 20 minutes. Although I did eat 2 servings last night and 3 servings today. If you don't binge it like me, you should be fine.

too much masa corn flavor. creates an aftertaste thats too corny. in my opinion

Disappointed to realize the recently bought package was 1 year expired off the shelf. Check expiration dates before buying because I don't think these move off the shelves much. Terrible taste and texture. I would have done better making one from scratch. Thick and gel-like. Did not raise much.

As another person also said in their review, which i didnt see or read until now, Walmart is selling out of date product which tastes terrible. Normally i check the dates when I'm shopping but i did the shop online/deliver to my car thing and got a mix that I didnt realize was almost a year of date. By the time i got around to making it, it was a year out of date. I went back to WM to find a new mix, and guess what....the only product on the shelf in this brand is ALL out of date by 1 year, and as of today, there is approx 5-6 pkgs still sitting there expired! Shocking that they don't know this and have this off the shelf bc it tastes rancid and has a horrible, gummy texture. I guess its not entirely fair to rate this item since i really don't know what its like fresh but buyer beware!
