Absolutely delicious and has added protein! Admittedly if the sugar can be cut a little bit, I would prefer the macros, however this seems like an acceptable medium between those expensive protein cereals that don't often taste good or feel satisfying for me. Eat this with fairlife milk (also more protein) and you have a winning breakfast.
Taste good, too much ADDED sugar. For it to be better for consumers removing some of the added sugar would help. The flavor was on point, love the protein being in them, it helps hit my goals.
I love original Cheerios. I recently tried Cheerios Protein Cinnamon. For a breakfast cereal that is supposed to be healthy and high protein, it is way too sweet. otherwise it tastes good. Please consider lowering the amount of sugar.
These caught my eye as a more sanely priced alternative to other nice, but ludicrously priced protein cereals. And it's good, but holy moly these have way too much sugar. We're talking 12g of sugar for every 8g of protein. That's obscene! I eat a lot for breakfast so starting my day with 30g+ of sugar feels awful. I understand sugary cereals sell but I feel like these would still be plenty sweet with half, or even a third or less of the sugar. And surely the kind of crowd that cares about how much protein they're getting in their breakfast also probably cares enough about their diet to not be too happy about that either. These were nice to try and are probably fine for some folks, but unless they make a less sugary alternative I do not see myself buying it again.
Too much sugar, and both canola and/or sunflower oil are found to be toxic. I doubt either ingredient will change. Sugar creates a dopamine effect resulting in repeat customers, while the aforementioned oils are cheap and allow for a higher corporate profit margin. Cinnamon tastes nice and the protein content is quite nice, however.
I want to like this, I just cannot see myself buying them again, way too much sugar. Please lower the amount of sugar.
Honestly these don't taste bad but they have 12 grams of added sugar per serving... that is 24% the daily value. It's too much sugar and is one of the reasons why everyone is overweight and has diabetes, healthy cheerios masquerading as a health food when really it has almost as much sugar as candy. Half the sugar to 6 grams and they would be a reasonably healthy option.
My diabetic husband thought these were good for him specifically because they had Protein in the title. He ate a bowl and his sugar went through the roof! I looked at the label and saw all the sugar. So bummed! Can you please lower the sugar or maybe replace with an alternative? Thanks.
12g of added sugar! Really!?!?!?! Replace this with Stevia and I'll consider purchasing your product. Or is your goal to increase childhood obesity and diabetes? For the maker of just regular Cheerios, a healthy product that I have enjoyed for years, I'm very disappointed in General Mills for producing this new unhealthy product.
How can this cereal be healthy with all the sugar.
