General Repair 8 Piece Tool Kit In Water-Resistant Black Zippered Case (1 Kit)

Good basic kit for student heading to college.

I bought this for our daughter who has her first apartment after college. Each tool well made. All she needed to add was a cordless drill and she is set for hanging photos, putting together Ikea furniture, hanging drapes and almost any other small project. The canvas case zips up nicely and stores compactly in her closet. I looked a other tool kits but the Stanley Bostich name, low price and number of tools were the best combination.

Full size, well made tools. Perfect!

I like that this tool kit is small enough to fit in a drawer but still large enough to tackle jobs.

I purchased this set for our son-in-law. Generally speaking, the quality is good, but both red-handled pliers are cheap and stamped as imports. I don't know if any of Stanley's tools are still manufactured in the US, but I purchased the Stanley 3-piece plier set (all stamped "Stanley," with yellow accents) and replaced the poor quality ones in this set. Now it's not only a better quality gift set, but it actually looks like a matched set. The hammer is another story, but will probably serve the purpose.
