Generic Home Craft Quilt Rack, Espresso

We were very impressed with the quality of the rack. It was exactly what I was looking for. One leg was short but we made it work, and you can't even tell at all. I love it and it looks great in our bedroom. Also the color matches my furniture in the bedroom, I was happy about that. I would definitely recommend this quilt rack to anyone.

This is a very attractive piece of furniture. It is light weight and yet seems to be durable. It holds and displays quilts well. It is fairly simple to assemble but I would suggest that it is much easier with two people to do so. The dark wood looks very nice in the living room, craft room or dining room too.

This arrived very quickly, so I was pleased about that, and that was as a good start. The rack needed to be assembled, but the assembly was very easy and the instructions were clear. I did find that screwing the rack together by hand was a bit hard at the end , but that only said to me it would be a nice tight fit. The fact the screw holes matched perfectly and the dowels lined up perfectly, made this very easy indeed. It took me a whole 10 minutes top. I would have preferred a lighter colored wood, but the looks of the espresso really is quite rich. The finish is not cheap in appearance and well done. No one would ever say this would be a fine piece of furniture, but it does its job and looks great while doing it. The rack is very sturdy, once it is put together after setting up. I placed king, queen and throw blankets all at once on the rack and there was plenty of room and the rack had no give or wiggle. It wide enough for most folded quilts I feel this will last quite a while and it be able to handle any quilt or blanket weight put on it. It makes a nice appearance in a room. For us, holding the extras blankets instead of piling the blankets on the edge of the bed, is a organizer's dream.

It arrived well packaged and instructions on assembling where well written. A less handi person may need another set of hands, but after building 30 homes and remodeling scores, I was up to the task by myself. One of the 10 screws striped so I cut three 3/4" length of plastic lock ties, shoved them in the hole, one at a time, using a longer length of the tie to tap them in. The rack is now very sturdy and does the job as intended.

Don't buy this unless you're pretty handy - dowels were broken on one top arched frame, screw holes had to be drilled out so screws wouldn't bottom out. I bought this one because it had five rails, but the bottom ones are so low as to be almost non-functional.

I received the rack quickly but found out as I was assembling that one side of the stand didn't have the holes cut in correctly to screw in. The top hole was located on the outside of the stand so the rod wouldn't properly fit. I made it work but rack doesn't stand flat now and it wobbly. Photos attached.

Please be advised when buying from this retailer. I budget shopping for Christmas so I start early due to my finances and bought a product from this company and was shipped broken. It was a Christmas present so no I did not open it and put it together. I do not want my money back or even exchange all I want is the piece that's broken sent to me and they are refusing to help in any way. Nowadays, with the pandemic people are encouraged to shop online to even get what you would like and you run into difficulties like this when it is a simple and easy fix. This company will not work with you so "buyer beware" when purchasing.

I have to return this item. I do not understand why this wasn't checked before shipping. 2 of the dowel holes are turned in and cannot put dowels into to make rack. Now I have to reorder and hope the next one is correct. It is costing me time to return and now wait for new one.
