I hadn't ridden a bike in a very long time, for the price and what Im using the bike for I am very happy with my purchase. I had a local bike shop assemble the bike for me so I wouldnt have any problems. Ive taken multiple bike rides and everything from the ride to the gears have been perfect. I did upgrade my seat and added a water bottle holder.
I ordered online so the bike arrived with a little assembly required but I only had to attach the front wheel, the seat and the handlebars and attach the front brake cable so dont pay the $135 assembly charge that was offered. Its only a half hour job! The bike is great value for the price, so far I’m really happy with it, it’s ideal for the recreational biker who has no need or desire to spend $1000 and to be honest it feels much the same with the gear shift etc being the same brand as on higher end bikes, so a good deal in my view!
the bike was easy to assemble and came packaged nicely. though sadly after building the bike the chain was broken so it seems as though I just got unlucky. though without this error I think it would've made for nice transportation.
really? so the stickers are upside down on this bike, there are rub marks everywhere on at least 4 diferent parts, the front shock wont fully extend, among other things. just fyi, you get what you pay for...which is the only saving grace,, for 128$ this is a great bike still.
decent for regular bike rides on smooth pavement. i dont recommend it for the lightest mountain ride. my gears were hard to find the sweet spot for optimal changing without hearing the "crunching" noise. i returned the bike the next day i received it
The bike looks great and the price for quality is amazing. That said I think I got a return product. The bike had two nuts missing but essential parts none the less. I called Walmart and they could take the bike back. However due to the bike shortages I said no and got a discount. Enough for me to look for the parts elsewhere. Tip: don't order parts online if you have access to a local bike shop just do that and don't go to a hardware because the parts aren't made for that. Two trips to the hardware store both failed, ended going to the bike shop the guy charge 50 cents for on and two bucks for the other.
This looks like it could be a really good bike but if you buy online and assemble be ware. The front disk brake is difficult at best if it's not aligned properly. I have some experience with bikes and thought this would be easy but the front calipers were way out of alignment. After over an hour it was still rubbing so I called a friend that is an avid mountain biker. We pulled the front wheel off only to find the wheel was way out of alignment and the brake disk was bent. I don't know if this was in shipping or just poor workmanship. The back brake was not adjusted and overall this bike looks like it was just tossed in a box. According to Kent's web site the bikes are assembled and tuned then partially disassembled for shipping but this doesn't seem like that is the case. Unless you are getting this professionally assembled don't waste your time and honestly if you are paying for assembly then you can probably find a better bike for the price.
Bike looks and feels great but shifting mechanism is junk on the second ride it self destructed. Don’t waste your time and money. I returned it for a refund.
The right pedal was broken with the threads worn out for the fitting in the axle too. It’s not working at all and it’s tiresome to dissemble and return as well
This bike is a piece of junk! It changes gears by itself. It also makes strange noises like it is going to fall apart! Don't buy!
