Simply put, you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a genuine road bike to compete in races with, this is not it. You'll have to pay about $1000 for a true race bike. This bike is a bit heavy. This bike is very stylish though- looks gorgeous! It shifts gears well. I like the many adjustment options for the handlebars, seat, etc. I appreciate the semi-hybrid tires... in addition to giving you the aerodynamics to ride on the road or bike track, it looks like they'd do ok on slightly gravel trails. The brakes are not great. After taking them off and adjusting them, they are efficient, but still not great. But again, the bike was only $200! If u just want a commuter bike, I think this is great for that. Definitely will be good for anyone just trying to get more exercise or as a starter road bike. I've only had mine for a week, so I'll update later once I put more miles on it.
This is my first adult road bike and the first bike since being a kid and riding to a corner store or neighborhood friends. I thoroughly enjoy this ride so far. I've put on about 150 miles, and it's doing well. I definitely recommend this bike to start and long term for commuting in a metro city. I bought two for my wife and me. She loves it so.
Comes in box. VERY apealing to the eye youWILL get comments and compliments! Simple as far as extras and the quality of parts is decent. Overall great first/entry road bike. Spend time tweaking it (obviously) before ridding it. Persobally I adjusted: Seat height, derailleur (front and rear), breaks, and I trued (balanced) the wheels (rims). If you dont know how to just research it on the web non of these are too complex. Very recommended. Price is unbeatable and quality is very decent.
Easy assembly. 6061 aluminum frame is quite light and is relatively stout. Derailers and cassette are what one would expect on a bike in this price range. Brakes are not the best. This bike does need constant tinkering before each ride for optimal performance. All in all bike is above average.
I used to be a serious cyclist, but I'm not going to compare this to the $5000 bikes I used to ride, cause there is no comparison. But, for the price...this ride rocks! Arrived with a few scratches, unfortunately, but nothing serious. Assembled quickly and easily (no tools included) and everything works...well! The wheels needed truing, but otherwise rides very nice. Get lots of compliments. Shifts well, brakes needed adjusting, but are adequate. For the price, it's a lot of bike. I'm used to a little racing seat, so I'll change that first. For a beginner, or a commuter, or in my case, re-entering the sport...you get your money's worth.
its a good bike for the money i don't know why bike companies have done away with wing brakes(brake handles) next to the handlebar for easier access to the brake system
Is not that bad, is good for the price, does the job.
The good news is the bike arrived mostly assembled, the bad news is the assembly that was done for me was dangerously incompetent. The front fork was on *backwards* so not just the tips of my toes, but the actual shaft of the pedal caught on the front wheel during a fairly shallow turn on the bike's maiden voyage. helmet check! the front brakes were also pretty badly borked, but hey that's why you have one on the rear wheel, right? a spare? if you're confident and competent to check the assembly, the bike is perfectly fine value for the money. but if you're that into bikes, you probably want something less bargain basement.
bike arrived in a damage box. Assembly is pretty standard. chain guard (cheap plastic part) broke on the first time gear shift on my test run. weight is decent considering the price.
The bicycle was received on October 28, 2020. The bicycle spokes began to break in April 2021. At least 10 of them have been broken in June. There is also a problem with the bottom of the bicycle pedal within six months. Go to a bicycle repair shop I asked for dozens of dollars. I'm so disappointed with this bike.
