Big bike for a big boy.

Mary April 25, 2020

I bought this for my tall teenage son. He wanted a bike that he ride trails that actually fit him. He loves the bike, but we will probably need to get a slightly longer seat stem so he can get the full use of his long legs. It was very easy to assemble, but a little tricky to adjust. Don't give up. It is possible.

So far I recommend this bike. Time will tell more!

TO ALL THEY NEY SAYERS….You must have some mechanical ability to properly assemble the front wheel and adjust the front disc brake. The front brake MUST be removed to install the wheel. Then the brake assy needs to be adjusted and reinstalled. This is why so many people commented that the forks were bent. They weren’t! The derailleurs need to be properly adjusted for proper gear changes, which was ver simple and quick. I just assembled my bike today, rode it for about a mile, and EVERYTHING is working correctly so far. I’m a little over 5’11”, if I was an inch shorter, this bike would be too big for me, but I am very comfortable on it.

Great Bike for a Great Price!

carawlins November 8, 2020

Assembly was relatively easy and the price ($174) was very reasonable. It rides good and the gears shift pretty well. I did have to replace the seat (very uncomfortable). My only minor complaint is that when the wheels get wet, the rear brakes squeak (I probably can adjust to eliminate this). All in all, I am VERY happy with my purchase!

Wow makes 26" bikes look tiny it's HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!

perrym1229 August 25, 2020

This is a real big boy bike for a very big boy. I have a Genesis V2100 26" and this thing is humongous compared to it. First things first, this was probably the first bike in a box that was halfway assembled properly. The front derailleur didn't even need a touch, the rear derailleur less than half a turn to center the chain on each gear perfectly. Yes I had to adjust the front disk brake caliper, big deal loosen the 2 Allen key bolts that hold the caliper onto the bracket, hold the brake lever while tightening up the Allen key bolts, bingo caliper is centered on rotor. The brakes needed adjustment, but the brake shoes on the rear wheel were actually on correctly (wow blew my mind, didn't need to move them around to properly seat on the rim, they were perfectly aligned). Everything was easy to adjust and nothing was stripped. Don't fool yourself, this bike is meant for casual riding on the road and very light trails, but the ride is awesome like a Cadillac Fleetwood. For the youngsters out there, a Fleetwood was a Cadillac that is 1.5 times the size of a modern CT6. If you are looking for a nice riding bike to ride around on the road and the occasional light trail than this is the bike for you.

Bought this for my 15 year old son. He loves it! Sturdy and rugged. Good for around the neighborhood, trails, and off road. Would definitely buy again.

Decent cheap bike, but not a true MTB

JP February 1, 2021

OK bike for the price. Seat hard a a rock, but a seat cover fixes the issue. The derailer ( thing that moves chain) is really noisy some times. The rear suspension on a cheap bike like this is for looks only, couple of small jumps (few inches) and you realize that it does almost nothing. Great bike if using at camp grounds or subdivision, lite ridding but anything halfway moderate you need to spend the $$$ and get a better bike. Front suspension does work, similar to a pogo stick but has no adjustments. So in short, if you don’t plan on jumping anything this is a good bike. If you plan on going down mountains get a better bike.

Two months in alone with this bike which is greatly built but shoukd have also had a rear disc brake as the front is. Anyhow this morninf 7/22 took the bike out the garage to get a morning ride. As the bike left my garage and my first rotation peddle the rear gear system teeth broke. The second highest gear teeth just like that. How can i go about getting this refunded or replace the rear gear teeth system?

OK buy- few issues...

David May 11, 2020

Good purchase well worth it. Came across a few issues. After i assembled the bike the middle bracket that holds the handle bar came loose. Dont order this bike if you weight over 200 lbs. I weight 215 and the bike can barley support my weight. Also you will need a new seat. Very uncomfortable. After an hour of riding my prostate was killing me.

Expect to have to buy another bike

Todd December 14, 2020

I had the bike less then 4 week and all the nuts, bolts, chain and any exposed metal began to rust. It’s not a little over two months and the rust has started to corrode. The handle bars have started to rust too and the junction that hold the handle bats to the bike is full of rust. The handle bars are now permanently shifting. I store the bike inside the house and only take it out on occasional weekends to ride it. It’s such a disappointment as the bike looks great on the picture and also rides well but the longevity of it is extremely poor. I have began a request to return the bike.
