I'm very pleased with the overall build and design. Especially noteworthy is the burner and ignition system. This grill seems to have better flare up control than my 15 year old Summit. Assembly could be simplified and accomplished quicker if the instructions included text vs illustrations only.
About my 5th Weber, usually lasting 8-10 years, hope this is the same. Just started using it very even grilling and the new electronic stuff makes control easier.
Excellent grill, easy to light and use, meat thermometer and display is a very nice feature, easy hookup to home natural gas
Awesome grill! Heats up evenly….smart app is spot on
My first Weber, very easy to follow instructions and everything lines up beautifully. good quality nuts n bolts and all parts are doing exactly as you would hope.
Electric thermostat unnecessary. Hard to control temperature with this model. If outside plug not working, no way to know how hot grill temp is. I also have the original Weber Grill, and it is still their best model.
Everything is great, but some detailes are mode from the iron, a corrosive magerial, so they get rosted. #sweepstakes
Gets nice and hot, but the burners are slow to light. The fatal flaw: you have to plug it in to see the temp gauge! Or use a battery pack (that I could never get to work) that's exposed to the elements. More tech than is necessary to simply grill a steak.
I am a bit disappointed. I've been using Weber grills for over 50 years. There are a couple things I do not like about this model: it does not heat up as quickly as my Genesis 2 unless you use the sear feature. If you do that, once it heats up it is difficult to control the heat mainly reducing it. This grill also seems to use far more gas when cooking than my older model. Also, the fact that the unit itself is not completely enclosed on the sides is really a bad design. Not only does it not look appealing, but it allows for bugs and/or animals to get into the drip pan area. I did not see this before the grill was delivered, or I would not have purchased it. I do like the digital temp readout, although I question how long it will function. Not your best effort!
I have been unable to use my grill as I have not been able to assemble it due to a damaged part. I have been trying for more than two weeks to obtain the part (which must come from Weber) or obtain any information as to when I might hope to get it. Very disappointing and will not order another unassembled grill from any company. The only photo I might upload would be of the unpacked parts now taking up room in my garage.
