I bought this to use to take my mother's temperature. She never liked having a thermometer in her mouth. This works great and doesn't have to touch her. And it was a good value. And you don't have to worry about spreading diseases since it doesn't go in your mouth.

I dont know much about these things but great price for something i am now using several times a day and it always reads within 1/5 of a degree every time and with this pandemic going on gives me an invaluable sense of security

I had purchased another infrared thermometer but you had to have a degree in engineering to figure out how the stupid thing worked. This unit is Perfect! It's very quick and extremely easy to use. I would highly recommend this.

I'm sure I will like it much better. no germs from putting it in your mouth. Plus when my granddaughters are here I can use it on them. just for fun

I would not give this any stars if that was an option. Received, put in new batteries and nothing happened. Looks more like a toy! Not even worth the hassle to contact company for a replacement.
