works great on my night stand during the evening and night to run my lamp, charge my phone and charge my fitbit. on my way out the door in the morning if it needs to be charged I set out the solar panel and get it charged right up for when I get home it's ready to go again! perfect for what I need.
What a great product! This small but powerful power station works great. It's super easy to use and comes with all cords and adapters you'll need. It came partially charged (55%) and we charged it fully before using it. The bundle with the solar panel charging kit is a great value. It's a great complimentary backup power supply to our larger Wattbricks Power Station. Bonus...this small one is airline approved!
I like the size of this power supply. It stores enough power to operate my cpap machine for 1 to 2 days (I've used it) and easily recharges with the solar panel. I plan to use it while camping. Overall, q great choice for me.
Perfect for our camping needs. This gives us the extra power to charge up phones and other devices while out hiking and camping. Small enough to put in a backpack if needed.
Perfect for keepin my electronics running while camping. The solar panel charges the battery faster than plugging into an outlet charger. The battery pack is small, but that is good for my use. I’m glad I purchased this.
not know the type of usb it has
This is good for reliable charging while traveling or camping. The solar panels are adequate but also slow typlical of solar.
I purchased this combination power bank and solar panel at the beginning of December and have completed numerous usages to determine a fair review. I have lots of devices that are powered via USB and am constantly trying out different power banks to use with these products. I'm rating this item as two stars due to the fact that the power bank does hold a charge and works well with a variety of devices. It will fast charge your iPhone, Android, and laptops. However, it will only provide your cell phone with one full charge and may have enough left over to give a quarter or if your lucky a half charge more. To charge a laptop, it may give one full charge depending on the model, but will be completely depleted after. If your wanting to just have extra power for your cell phones, there are smaller options at half the price that will charge your phones two and a half times to three times before depletion. And for the same price (though without a solar panel), you can get power banks that will charge your laptops twice and have a small amount of juice left. This power bank has been a big disappointment, especially since it is carried by Sam's Club, which I would have expected to have partnered with a better product (I doubt any testing was done before placing this brand in their stores). Now as for the solar panel, I have several and small panels like the one included, really are a toss up. I have purchased good ones and terrible ones, often there is no in between. Unfortunately, this solar panel is not very good. It will charge the included power bank, but has to be carefully adjusted to gain the optimum angle of sun and due to this, it can't just be placed and returned to later expecting a full charge. Honestly, most solar panels in this size range are going to be the same, needing constant adjustment, however there are a good number out there that provide an even charge with low sunlight levels, but this panel is not in that category. It is nice though to always have a secondary method to charge your power bank for later use, and for my purposes, which is hiking and camping, any power is better than no power. I was excited to see this item at my local Sam's Club and it was discounted, but even at the sale price, I can't recommend when there are so many better options out there at half the price. I can't justify charging this unit all day in the sun to only provide one and a half charges at most. There are power banks more portable in size and weight, and provide more additional charges, which is the whole point of a power bank, I'd also like to point out the units boxed advertising as being misleading, from the size of the box to the images and text. I hope the review is helpful in selecting a power bank and in conclusion this unit is not adequate at the current price for personal use and definitely not as back up for a household to recharge cell phones during outages or camping.
The connection to the battery box is a very flimsy DC adapter to USB C and broke off the first time I tried to charge it. They need a standard durable DC plug connector to charge the battery.
I just purchased it from my club, right out of the box it showed 54% charge then I plugged the solar panel pointing to direct sunlight and it says 40 hours until fully charged! From 54% to 100% takes 40 hours! I'll return this the very next time I go to the store.
