Genuine Frigidaire IM117000 Refrigerator Ice Maker Kit

The item I received from Walmart was due to home depot.Not being able to supply me the proper ice maker for the refrigerator I bought from there and you had the proper Item is sent to me thanks

That were negative on this product . However I don't understand If installed properly It works GREAT. I have not run out of ice yet.I use a lot of ice.

The biggest difficulty was to puncture the dimples in the freezer plastic to install the special shouldered screws. I wound up carefully using a drill with a 1/8" drill bit. An awl or small nail may also work, but use great care.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this ice maker for a few weeks now (I purchased it for my new Frigidaire top-freezer refrigerator), and so far it works well. The installers of my fridge had quite a time trying to get this unit in properly, but once they did, it worked perfectly, and after a few test batches, I had great ice. One thing I am confused about is how to get it to stop making ice for a while so I can use up what it has made. There's no sensor arm, and the stapled instructions that came in the box were taken away with the rest of the packaging by the installers before I realized they were gone. This is not a fault with the product, but I wish it were easier to find the answer. The good news is, it really cranks out ice! (If Frigidaire wants to respond to tell me how to turn this type of ice maker off and on, I'd appreciate it!)

Seems to be nice enough product and no trouble installing. Had install instruction but no operating manual included. Saw how to change the ice size in a response to a review. No install guide or user guide on the product page. Or specifications for that matter.

I just moved into a place that came with a fridge and this ice maker. The ice maker is pretty much set up, except there is a sort of lever that is separated and next to it. I have been unable to make ice thus far. Where/how should I attach this lever? And is there an on/off button?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought a FFHT1425VV beautiful fridge. I wanted an ice maker so I was excited to get the ice maker. However...when it arrived it was missing pieces. Just the clips for the water line but still....I installed the unit and it makes VERYsmall ice cubes. There are no directions in how to increase or adjust cube size. Even if they did...the tray has small capacity. Frigidaire support is non existent. Wish this freezer was compatible with the older style cube maker which makes large cubes for half the cost

Love the refrigerator, however found out afterwards that the icemaker that was sent with my delivery was not the right one for this refrigerator and that the correct one is on recall due to issues. So now I have a refrigerator that I cannot get an icemaker for.
