Bake Element
It works as I suspected it would and was VERY easy to replace. I'm glad I bought a GE replacement, because I felt that I could trust it.

Replacement baking element!
We were in need of a replacement baking element for our older model Hotpoint over. After we were able to locate a compatible replacement part I did an on-line search to find one and was able to get the best price at Walmart. I was also able to pick it up at our local store for free. It was a lot quicker than having it shipped from some other provider. I was very pleased when I was able to get it sooner than expected. If your looking for an item like this or even something else I'd definitely recommend you check to see it it's available at Walmart first.

WRONG PART! BAD DESCRIPTION!
Although this element was listed as an exact replacement for my oven it was NOT! I only found this out when I tried to install it and that the end that protrudes through the back of the oven to the connections was too long. I returned it and got the correct one. BIG WASTE OF TIME! Walmart should be more specific in its part descriptions!
