I needed a new check book cover and this was the only one at Walmart that was close to what I was looking for. I don't use it as a "wallet", so the credit card slots I use to keep my stamps in. It would be much better if it had a side for my checks and the other side for the check register and then a place to keep things like postage stamps or address labels. It is very sturdy and seems like it will last a long time.
