I bought this grill to replace my George Foreman grill I purchased a few years ago. It still works but the coating had started to come off. This is the same model but the new copper coating seems superior to the old one. Cleaning the grill is much easier with the new grill
I love the George Foreman. This is my upgrade. I had a one I had forever this one. I'll probably keep also Forever you can have a thin steak and it be cooked evenly. You can have a thick steak and it be cooked evenly close nice not too tight just right my steak was lovely.
It is kind of a stretch to say it cooks two burgers at the same time --they won't fit unless they are quite small. Other than that, it is an excellent product, easy to clean, fast, good looking, and takes off the fat from the meat just like that. The worst risk you may face using it, I think, it is to leave your burgers cooking for too long, it should be 5 or 6 minutes top.
Works well for a single or maybe double household. You can cook your basics in it like a couple of small steaks or one decent size steak, a decent burger or a couple of regular burgers. The copper-iced plates are super slick and if I'm not paying attention, the food will start sliding down toward the front lip of the unit so keep an eye on it! The only thing I would change would be if the plates were detachable in case I needed to soap them, but so far everything has cleaned right up without a problem.
It was easy to cook on this grill, especially since I could elevate the grill so grease could drain easily into the drip pan. Cleaning the grill was much easier than my previous Foreman grill. The new cord storage clips are great. The compact size allows me to keep the grill on a shelf accessible whenever I need it so I'll probably use it more often!
This is my 2nd one, I dropped my first one and broke it. Needed another one right away. This is perfect size for 1 or 2 people depending on what is being grilled. I used my first grill practically every day for several months. Burgers, grilled chicken breasts, pork chops, hot dogs, brats, bacon, steak, grilled sandwiches, etc all made quick %26 easy. Clean up a breeze too (be sure to follow the cleaning instructions to keep grill from getting damaged). Would definitely buy again as it is worth the time it saves.
I bought this to replace the standard one I had for almost a decade. I love foreman grills. At this point in life, I refuse to make my kids burgers without one which is why I replaced my old one right away. This one is much smaller than the standard one. The only downside is the plates aren't removable for washing which I liked about the bigger one. But it's easy to clean and good quality.
grease goes everywhere no on and off switch. cleaning is a job for such a compact device. and be careful the hinges move around which can cause you to burn yourself. great value though i use it quite regularly i just make adjustments for its defects.
For seniors or quick hamburger and grill both sides. It has no temperature gauge so I don't know how hot the griddle is. I will keep it. It's easy to clean my grandson uses it. It needs a heavier top so that it grills better. But we've adapted and it was worth the money.
Bought this mainly to make hotdogs, but they slide right off because the grill is shiny and slippery. Even using it flat they still slide off. Hamburgers also slid off. In the past I had a large size George Forman grill, the grill was far superior to this one. I bought this one because the size was perfect, easier to store, doesn't take much room.
