George Men's Branford Wide Width Casual Dress Oxfords

This item came in clutch for me and my husband who were invited to a wedding short notice. These are a really good looking show for the price. I saw other similar options that were selling for double or triple the price. My husband got the cognac color and they looked and fit great. My husband is a 13 in shoes and the 13 wide width and it was true to size and fit well.

I've owned these shoes for 25 months now. I wear them daily to work. They have been a great pair of shoes. I ended up buying a new pair of these back in July, 2025 (same size, etc.), but I have not worn them yet (so they're still new in the box) as the current ones were still in good shape. Now, though, my current ones are on their last leg - as you can see from the pics. I could probably squeeze another 1-2 months out of them if I were careful, but then I'd run the risk of my coworkers, etc. seeing me wear older shoes that were falling apart. So, as a final send off, I'm writing this review. I love these shoes - the colour, style, feel, look, and durability of these shoes. Three cheers to George Branford Cap Toe Oxfords!

I bought this brand a few years ago for my boys. I later felt bad because of how extensive it was! They lasted for a very long time beautifully. Beautifully. (-Whispers- When I didn't want to replace their shoes yet because it was just bad timing, I was able to get a few more months out of them by using a blow-dryer and pressing out the sides, back, and front just to stretch them a little. Do at your own risk. It was time consuming, but it worked great and they worked beautifully for a few more months.) When it came time to buy shoes again recently I didn't even pause to come straight back to these. I had a couple of bad pair in between that didn't last as long. these are great. The price is worth it if you're looking for sometime to be worn at least once a week for a couple of hours at a time.

I bought these for my son and he said they were fairly comfortable right out of the box, for a dress shoe. Worked great for us due to fast shipping as well.

1 year of use, 6 -7 days per week. Usually vinyl shoes will crack after a few months of use but not these. So far it looks like the tread will wear out before the outer parts. The liner has some wear. These are as comfortable as any other dress shoes I've owned and so I wear them not just for the office but everywhere else. Since they are not leather they clean easily and you don't have to worry about walking when its wet or grimy.

Great price. My son chose these shoes over a few other choices. Bought his normal size but they were a little big, not too horrible but I figure he'll grow into them

I have to admit that Walmart isn't my first thought when I need to go shoe shopping. I have often passed by their shoe department without a second glance. However, I have been wrong in my quick judgement of the Walmart shoe brands. The George Branford Oxford is a nice looking shoe at a good price. The exterior of the shoe looks like a top quality shoe, with a stitched cap on the toe of the shoe, adding some style to an otherwise plain black dress shoe. The interior has a slightly padded foot pad, with additional padding in the heel area. The sole seems to be of solid construction with a gripping pattern to prevent sliding on slippery surfaces. The appearance is a classic dress shoe, and I was surprised to find that the shoe is faux leather, because it doesn't look fake or cheap at all. I don't know how long faux leather lasts, or how well it will hold up in wet weather, yet it's a nice looking shoe and will fit any dressy event or situation.

I ordered these shoes early in the morning. I had a funeral to go to and express delivery, add an extra $20.00, promised to have them delivered within half hour of placing the order. The shoes were delivered promptly in a brown paper bag, no shoe box, with the top stapled shut. I took the bag in the house and opened it and pulled out the shoes and they did not come with shoe laces. Shoes: $34.98 Bag fee: $0.10 EXPRESS DELIVERY: $19.95 Tax: $4.38 Total: $65.41 And they came with plenty of time for me to get to the funeral, but what good did it do to purchase new shoes without shoe laces. I couldn't wear them. I purchased them January 16, 2026, and today is April 19th, 2026, and I still have not had the chance to go out and purchase shoe laces for these shoes. By the way, we're these supposed to come with shoe laces? Or is that a separate purchase? What a waste of $65 on such a sad day. It just couldn't get any worse.

My first order was delivered to a wrong address and Walmarþ refused to refund me my money. Instead telling me to speak to my bank to protest the payment. Walmart cannot be trusted.
