George Men's Field Jacket

I didn't realize it was a men's jacket other than that it was perfect quality nice jacket wish I hadn't known before I ordered it I would have ordered a smaller size but very nice jacket

This is a nice lightweight version of the classic field jacket. Construction is excellent, and nice enough that I bought 3 of them, 2 for me, one for Dad...

Very nice quality and inexpensive. I noticed others were mad because they thought it was heavier. It's a jacket not a coat.

I bought this jacket for my son. Fits him well. He needed a light jacket for cooler days. A good buy for the price.

Love this jacket. Very cool. I wear it to concerts, etc with a tshirt under it.

This jacket was not as heavy as I had been hoping it was but it is comfortable and has a hood tucked in to the collar which is neat. The pockets are very large, allowing plenty of room for anything you're taking with you. Personally I like taking a pair of gloves and a beanie with me if its cold enough outside. The sleeves also feel a bit short on me, but I am also a tall person so that may not be a problem for everybody else.

This field jacket looks great

The jacket I got made by George at Walmart turned out better than I thought it would only wished I would have gotten black the dark blue looks good but I think it would look better in a black based on my shirts and jeans I wear. It's not lined but has kept me comfortable on cool days it not Hanna help on days below 40, the days have been low 50's here I've been comfortable with it. I may order one more in black well worth it. Cost less than 20 bucks it's hard to come across anything good for that price but it does happen ever now and then. They'll make a good gift for a friend or relative Christmas just around the corner go buy a couple if you change your mind take it back. Buy them on line and you notice you get a much longer time on return policy you've 1 today return is good till end of January 2022 plus no crowds to deal with. I'm fixing to order a black one in a few minutes. Have a great week...

I have three George Field Jackets in different colors. This last one that I purchased in the green color is the new style from George. This is the first and only article of clothing from George that I'm disappointed with. VERY DISAPOINTED ! This jacket has a thin, flimsy feel and a very sloppy fit. The lower pockets on this new style field jacket aren't the exterior patch type like the ones that were on the nicer previous version. These lower pockets are made from a thin, cheap, flimsy feeling material. They just don't offer the strength and the support that I expected. Carrying my cars key fob with one house key attached is a noticeable strain on these thin, flimsy pockets. As you can clearly see in the included pics, You can actually see straight through the ridiculously unacceptable pocket material. Also, due to the design and construction of these lower pockets, They are only accessible from the top. Unlike the much nicer previous version which were also accessible from the side, which in turn offered four actual lower pockets. Six pockets in total. More pockets are a better thing as far as I'm concerned. I paid the same price for this new version jacket and received far less quality than that of last years version of the field jacket from George. Please note that the Green jacket with the hoodie is the jacket being reviewed. The lighter George Field Jacket as seen in the pics is last years much nicer version.

What a rip off. I thought this was the same jacket that was sold a year ago that was heavy with side pockets. This jacket is thin and has no side pockets. Do not buy!
