George Mens Solar Digital Wristwatch Plastic Strap

Over all I like the watch but the band has some sort of buckle in it. I guess for aesthetics but I find it to be painful on my wrist. It is those 3 arrows on the backside of the band that cut into your wrist bones. I would have preferred a flat wrist band for comforts sake. Keeps good time. Not too horrible to set.

I chose this watch because: 1) It uses solar power to maintain its battery. 2) The face is inset. If I drag it against a rough, hard sirface, the "crystal" is protected from making contact. 3) This watch has a removable band, which allowed me to make my own custom leather band. It's lightweight. Accuracy, ease of operation, %26 appearance all get 5 stars. The alarm is as loud as other comparable watches I've owned. I don't hear well, but I can hear it in a quiet environment.

I had the other George Mens Solar Digital Watch (all black one) and this one has a smaller base and narrower band so this is great for women and youth. I am a woman so this one works better for me size wise. If you are a man and want a bigger base and wider band than get the other George Mens Solar Digital Watch but if you want a smaller base narrower band watch than this will work for you. It has water resistance white lettering on the band and to make it more dressier, I blocked it out with a black sharpie.

Arrived dead. Websearched how to revive a powered down solar watch and set on sunny window until furthervm research revealed that it's not even a solar watch ZERO SOLAR CAPABILITY. I removed the back and found a Maxell cr2032 lithium battery dated 08 2024. The cr2032 lithium is not rechargeable. They had sent me a Solar watch that has never been solar. Walmart would not exchange but would refund only if I returned it. I chatted with their rep and they credited without return. ($6.00 online purchase) I then replaced the dead battery with a $7.00 Duracell cr2032 that I had laying around (tedious). Now I have a cheap watch that I have no use for, using a battery better used elsewhere. Again, this watch has zero solar capability.

My husband is loving his new watch so far. This is the SMALLEST of the 3 similar available by the same manufacturer. This watch is noticablely smaller than the large all black one and a little smaller than the fiberglass looking watch in this series. The larger black one is big and bulky and fiberglass print is average male watch size. The button below the watch face presses in for easy access to the backlight, a feature the other 2 does not have. I bought all 3 at the same time for each of my family members. This one was for my husband. He's had it now about a day. The band is screwed into place and I don't see it being easily pulled off as he's rough with his things. The band is sturdy and fits comfortably, he said. I hope he keeps using it unlike other watches he's had. I've told him he can take it to the shower without any issue. I love how it looks. It matches his typical outfits. I wasn't able to get a photo.

Looks very nice, Great quality other then it wont do good in long showers or itll fog then the night light wont work, over all it has all tge setting i need compared to 90% of other watches tgat dont have a feacher, solar i think is bull but its still cool. over all i think its a peek watch for the price. just as clear tape on top twice to make it scratch proof but still best watch ever than all the other watches i get from amazon or wish or ebay for the price

I purchased this for use in my garden as it is water resistant. I like the fact that it recharges in the sun and I do not have to worry about it getting wet while watering. I did not find the band uncomfortable at all. Quite the opposite. I found it comfortable to wear. The price is incredible for this watch.

I purchased it as a work watch. Thensize is smaller than what i am used to, but so far, it is holding up. The band is not much to brag about, but for the price, it is what you can expect. So far, it is holding up. I would purchase again for only what i need it for.

I like the large numbers. You can see them clearly at night using the backlight. For an inexpensive watch, it looks pretty stylish. Instead of the date so small you need a magnifying glass to read, you just push a button. The date is easy to read, and they are in large letters.

This is a very inexpensive watch, with a bright electroluminescent display. The numbers are very legible and it's very simple to operate and the alarm is sufficiently loud. It's also water resistant to 50 meters. The solar cell extends the battery life even if it doesn't charge the battery.
