Waterproof boots

anonymous May 19, 2025

The look , price and the quality of the product is great, However , although the length is true to size, the width is not. The area across the top of the foot was too tight on my husband and his foot went numb after five minutes. We gave them away to our neighbor. We'll be looking for a different style, perhaps with better luck. Thank you.

Well made %26 nice.

Jeanne October 21, 2024

All my life I have worn a size 6 shoe or sneaker so I don't know if it's the boot that runs small or if my foot has grown a half inch bigger. I would suggest going up to the next size because I am going to reorder in a size 7 now. My sex is comfortable but if I were to wear heavy socks for the winter it would probably be very tight around the foot. Well made and serves my purpose for walking my dog in the winter and even to run to the store. Hope this helps

Good buy, Look good, Do the job

Momzdotter October 9, 2013

They aren't "pretty," but they look just like what they are - sturdy, thick (but not overly stiff), "workhorse" type of boots that aren't for show but to do a job. Their job is to keep your feet, ankles, and lower legs dry, and that they do. I've walked through tall wet grass on spongy wet soil, and have slogged through deep puddles in these boots, and they have kept all moisture out. It took a little while to get used to the heaviness (not THAT heavy, but not as light as shoes, of course, or thinner and lighter boots), and the height of the boots. Once I got used to them, though, and realized how well they worked, I was looking for puddles to walk through...Yes, at my age - It's still fun. I wear an 8-1/2 shoe (women's) so I got these boots in size 9 as I read that they ran small. I think an 8 would have been too small, yet these would be too large for me if I didn't wear an extra, small pair of socks (the pull-on type that comes to just below the ankle) over my regular thick socks. I like these a lot and I'm very glad I bought them.

they work

Joy February 5, 2026

These boots are well made. They are light weight and work perfect for on the farm. The only problem is the top has a band on the inside that aggravates your leg when you walk. It isn't smooth and flat at the top like my old ones. They are easy to pull on - even with socks.

Good boot but they run very small! Order 1 to 2 sizes up! They are very tight around the ankle which could be a plus for teens who run a round a lot and slip out of boots!

Great when wearing for a short time

KSCityMomma January 26, 2025

These boots do what they are supposed to - keep your feet from getting wet. However they also have no padding, so my feet were very sore after wearing for a few hours. You need some sort of inserts to make these work when wearing any significant amount of time.

Great boot that gets the job done!

Anonymous April 9, 2014

This boot is pretty great. Please wear socks in them though, or your ankles will hurt pretty bad! They do their job and are not bad looking either. They are sturdy and I don't think these will crack like my other more stylish ones have in the past. Go up a size if you are in between, they are not a wide boot. I think they are great for $20!

Good value for minimal use boots

Fiona October 8, 2025

These George Unisex rain boots are a good value but not meant for standing/working for long periods of time as they don't have much insole support. After standing for a few hours, I was ready to take them off. They look good, are easy to pull on and off, seem sturdy and worked for the short time they were needed. If I was purchasing again, I would order 1/2 size larger so I could wear heavier socks when the weather gets colder.

Good boots, but really hard to put on.

Lisa December 1, 2024

Boots seem to be well made. The shaft of the boot is wide enough to fit me, I tend to have wide calves. However, the lining of the boot grips on to socks and makes it VERY difficult to slide your foot in. The top of the foot portion of the boot is also quite shallow, making sliding your foot around the "corner" of the boot extremely difficult. I've taken to pulling the toe of my sock out so that it hangs very loose. As I'm putting the boot on, the lining grips the sock and pulls it so tight that my toes are being pulled to a curl. After walking around for a bit the sock begins to loosen and then the boots are fine. But actually getting them put on is really exhausting. I would recommend wearing them only with thin socks or socks that are "slick" like maybe nylon or something. I don't have that luxury, I need to wear wool socks.

They're not comfortable at all. Even with a set of insoles in them rhey still hurt my feet. I wear rubber boots for at least 9 hours a day for work. I've tried plenty of different brands and styles. These are by far the worst. I've worn them 3 times and there's no amount of anything that will make them comfortable for me. So I've bought different boots.
