Great pictures and detail. Little annoying if you don't have a tiny screwdriver for the batteries, but nice educational toy.
My kids (ages 3.5 and 5.5) love this telescope! They kept saying it's so cool as they looked through all the different images of the space, planets and stars. They are at an age where they are starting to get really curious about the solar system so they ask a ton of questions. We love how this talking telescope teaches them 5 facts about each image. The telescope is the perfect size for preschoolers and it is the perfect way to introduce them to space. I love how after they have learned everything, there is a quiz mode (with 5 questions for each image!) that they can do. Also it is pretty cool that the audio can be switched to 4 different languages and the guide is also multilingual. The telescope is high quality and durable and I know my kids will be using this for a while. It is also teaching them to take turns and share since they have to wait their turn. Highly recommend for your toddlers and preschoolers as they start to learn about the solar system.
This is not a real telescope. Knowing that up front helped to temper expectations. With that said, this is an awesome way for little kids to see real photos of outer space up close! And I loved the extra bonus learning they get from the facts and quizzes - the telescope actually talks!!
Received this in the mail for our daughter as s Birthday gift from her grandma and it's garbage. Took it out of the box to set up, can't see a thing out of it, mirrors were not attached inside properly or securely and 3 of them were broken/cracked. Very cheaply made, and top make matters worse having a very excited little girl to get a telescope for her Birthday and it came broken!!
My Autistic son is three and really into space. He got this as a gift from my sister and it doesn't talk. I can see and go through the images but that's it.
It doesn't work I put new batteries in and looked inside but no matter what I do nothing appears inside it only makes noise
quality control seems to be non-existent. It would be impossible to miss this problem if anyone did do quality control.
Don't buy Junk, it talks but can only see shards of light. Lenses broken. My daughters were so excited and then so disappointed
