So all the gadgets and gizmos on this thing are pretty cool. There’s a blade and a bottle opener; then there’s a 2 flat heads and philips screwdrivers. Oh and there’s a nail file too. And it’s tiny enough to hook into your keychain, and not add a lot of bulk in your pocket. So all of that is pretty cool, all packed into a tiny 2” pocket tool. Just beware, it is sooo small, if you’re a person like me that wears glasses. You will need your glasses to maneuver the tool and swap between functions. I felt like I was squinting trying to see inside and figure out what does what. I know the main draw of this little guy is how small it is, but for those of us not blessed with the sight, it can be so small that it’s hard to see. But since I wear them whenever I’m at work anyway it’s no problem. But at home, sometimes I forget and have it fetch them to use this little trinket. But it’s pretty cool overall.
I like this little tool. It’s compact size allows me to always have a multi tool on hand. It has been convenient for opening boxes and replacing batteries without the added hassle of searching for a knife or screwdriver. It is a real time saver.
I love multitools, but some of them I find are kind of hard to open up so you can use the other features. This one I haven't had any problems. It's got a flat heads, Philips head (which you always need) a bottle opener, a file and a knife that is safe enough especially when using it correctly. I love this product!
I would not go to the Amazon armed with this tiny knife but it could be useful in less uncivilized settings. This tool has a bottle opener, two screw drivers and one more tool which I still have not figured out and which has some type of filer grid on its side. It clips on to your key chain so you can always bring it along even if you hadn't actually thought of it while packing. I think it is so small that you might even be able to bring it onto a flight. I will definitely test that next time I fly.
It is the cutest thing I've ever seen. Its perfect for teaching him the safe way to use a pocketknife that's not so big. This one is small and a great tool for cut fishing line, opening packages. Would recommend for teaching knife safety to the next generation.
This Gerber multi-tool knife is about 2" long and packs a lot into a small size. There are 6 "mini tools", including a small knife, flathead screwdriver, phillips head screwdriver, file, and bottle opener. It comes with a spring-loaded integrated carabiner to attach to your bag. All the tools lock into the open position for use enabling the user to apply more pressure on the tool. Once locked, you slide the lock mechanism to close the tool. This is very easy to do. One drawback is that it is difficult to get only one tool out. I have been pulling them all (or most) out, selecting a tool, and pushing the rest back in. I view this as a minor inconvenience noting this isn't the tool to buy if you plan to take on a project, it is more for the unexpected event. I like this multi-tool a lot because it gives me security of having options in my backpack, especially a knife, without packing any weight whatsoever. The quality is also excellent and it carries a 25 year limited warranty. This would make a nice gift item or stocking stuffer for the hiker or anyone in general.
Wow is this Mini! I couldn't believe how tiny this was when i received the package! We have a chair on our porch that my Girlfriend has been a little more than rough with and ended up busting the rope that hold the seat in place. I was using zip ties to hold it together until I got some materials to keep it together better and more professional. The Gerber Curve Mini seemed like a good idea as it can be kept in the chair trays incase additional repairs are warranted or for when I get those glass bottle cokes its really handy to keep an opener near hand. The tools are a little difficult pulling out of the handle being so small which is the reason for the lost star but tried it on my keychain to see if it would feel intrusive in my pocket to which I noticed almost no difference to it being there or not. My "seat" does have additional padding which could reflect why I didn't notice it in my back pocket.
nice little tool, but it is very hard to push the unlock mechanism to close. because of that, not sure if keeping it.
Wow, this is so small I thought it was a joke. While I always thought something slightly smaller than a leatherman would be nice, this is ridiculously small...nearly the size of a quarter. On the bright side it seems to be all metal, and a nice color of blue...honestly though, it’s going in my junk drawer!
I gave 2 stars just because the tool is very well made. That being said i did not realize how small this is,it's only 2 1/4 inch long and for me i found it hard to access the tools. I guess this would be better suited for a person with more agile hands. I'm 65 and have very poor ability using my hands. That being said if your able to use your fingers well this could be a good little tool.
