Gerber Exchange Blade Saw Black Silver

i use this in the woods for quick cutting while scouting for Deer

This saw was a replacement for one I have enjoyed for years--glad to find it-it even fits in my old belt carrier and I can also use the blades from the old one.

I'm writing this review right after my purchase, but I bought this to replace one that I have had for several years now. It will cut anything you need cut. I hope Gerber never stops making this because I plan to own one the rest of my life.

This is my second Gerber saw, we trail ride and run across things down to big to cut with a clipper and this saw works great for a woman.

I have owned this for years, the wood blade cuts like a hot knife through butter, and the bone saw makes quick work of my deer every year, I am buying two more for my hunting buddies. I never go hunting without it.

Wish it wasn't made in china

I had no idea of the value of a compact, well-made survival saw until watching a Bear Gyliss survival show. In that show, he almost exclusively depended on such a saw to build temporary shelter on a cold, arctic night. In addition, he was able to cut firewood with the saw to build a fire barricade against the chill. In several internet ratings, the Gerber saw was featured as a prime choice for such purposes and I quite agree. It is sharp, compact, & light with a replacement blade to boot. I feel even more confident as I build my emergency preparedness kit that this saw will be crucial. Walmart did a fine job getting it to me quickly and made the whole experience enjoyable.

Love this thing, this one is for my son. I have broken the blades before but they are inexpensive to replace. I will never be without one.

This is a very nice saw. Compact and easy to carry around with you.
