Gerber Grey Pledge, Black Mullet Multi-Tool, 2pc Set

love this knife I do maintenance work for a living and am always using my knife. I will say it's not just a ordinary knife it's a screwdriver,hammer, paint can opener and in a pinch it helps me get in door's where my keys will not work. I would definitely recommend this knife.

Good everyday use fits nice in your pocket. Opens and closes smoothly.

I have purchased 5 sets of these. I love the straight edge blade. It is easy to keep sharp and is compact enough to stay in my pocket at work. The guys at work use it all the time.

The Gerber Pledge in Omni Grey is a great folding knife. The blade is very sharp right out of the package. I have not sharpened on it at all so far. It has a smooth action open, easy to do with one hand, and snaps into lock position with ease. I have seen it referred to as a 'tactical' knife. I have no tactical use for it, but I have been carrying it as I continue work on my new woodshop. I have found many uses for it and already miss it if I don't have it clipped to my pocket. The textured grip is comfortable in the hand and makes the knife easy to handle. So far, I have seen nothing about it that I don't like. The Mullet keychain multi-tool is an interesting extra. So far, I have used it to pull a carpet tack, a brad that was completely sunk into wood, and staples. I was surprised that it worked as well as it did, and it saved a trip to the tool box each time. It is made to hang from a belt loop, but take care as I had it come off once. The best use I have had for it so far is opening a cold bottle of refreshment at the end of the day!

This knife is so well made. Lives up to the Gerber products. All of the gadgets on the key chain are so nice. I've used one of them many times when no tools were around. Such easy access, great idea. Then entire knife and key chain are heavy duty. Not like those flimsey ones that are so cheap.

I like the multi tool it has some use for everyday and works for camping too, works as a screw driver (flat and phillips), scraper and hang on your beltloop or pocket (which I did try out most of the functions). I tried out the knife and like the feel of it even though it is a little small for my hands I use it cooking away from home on a flat-top grill cutting vegetables and some meat and it works well, I have a small collection of Gerber knives and most are used for different things and situations.

If you're just looking for a really sharp knife, this may do the trick but if you're looking for something to pull out quickly then you may be left hanging. The knife doesn't flip out like a switch blade. It is more cumbersome and less fluid to open. That's not what I was hoping for. Adding to the frustration, the product packaging makes it incredibly difficult to even get the two tools out. Once you do, there's absolutely nothing provided to give information on how to use them. The knife in particular requires you to a open and close it a very specific way. If I didn't have someone else show me how to close and open it, I would have to give a one star review. It was that complicated to figure out! Aside from that, these two pieces appear to be good quality but overall, I am not a fan of the Gerber Grey Pledge, Black Mullet Multi-Tool, 2 piece Set.

Ok I wanted to like this knife. It’s sharp but the painted surface on the grip is quite slippery. I just took it out of my pocket and it slipped out of my hands and hit the floor, and it opened with the blade spinning close to my boot. So it may just be my dry hands or whatever but still that’s kinda dangerous so I wouldn’t recommend it. Others may but not me.
