Product was nicely packaged in a small, but secure box. The size is perfect for at home or to carry with you. I appreciate the nice suede cover/case for the file. I like that there's 2 different grits, eventhough there's no identifiable marking. Fine/extra fine. The base of the file is a good length, handle length helps with the ease of use. The file feels sturdy and comfortable in your hand. The shape is great. The point helps to get all parts of your nail %26 dry skin. It takes minimal pressure to effectively file your nails, to shorten or smooth without chewing them up as other types do (metal, emery, other sub-par glass). I like that it can be rinsed without affecting the file's performance. Other sites give options for the color handle %26 sayings. For me, it wasn't worth the price increase. I'm very happy with my purchase, eventhough shipping was delayed by a few days.

I have used glass nail files for many years--my natural nails are thin and need the tips sealed (as glass filing does) to keep the nails strong. This file works well for natural nails--it has two surfaces--one side for shaping/shortening and the other to seal the nail tips.

Just got this and was able to use it a couple of times and so far it appears to cut more aggressively than metal nail files. Since it is glass you have to make sure not to drop it but that also means it should last for quite a long time as glass is almost as hard as diamonds. According to their ad on Walmart it says the surface is guaranteed for life so if it does not last then we will see if they stand behind that warranty or not.

this is the best nail file i have EVER had, and at age 78 i have had several, and always thinking there should be something better, and finally, this one is.

I haven't had it long enough to rate the durability yet. But for now, it files my nail quickly.

definitely best , never seems to wear out, grit is perfect and leaves the nails flawless, grit is smooth and doesn't leave a jagged edge on nails.
