GermGuardian 338 Sq. ft HEPA Pure Filter Tabletop Air Purifier, with UV-C, Silver, AC4100

We own 7 of this air purifier. It's a simple machine but does a great job filtering the air. Carbon pre filter plus the hepa filter is all that's necessary for a good filtration job. Doesn't take up a lot of space but does a job as good as a larger one. The easy filter changing does not take a lot of time, simply easy change! We owned a lot of air filtration up systems including very expensive towers and this remains to our favorite. We have more than one in opposite ends of the rooms, works great!

I bought this for our boat. We also have a GermGuardian purifier in our bathroom that works well. I wish this was a little quieter, but overall it works to minimize odors.

I have purchased three over the last five years. I use two of them in each of my large closets and one in my office near my desk. The filters are checked and changed usually every 4 months or so. Shipping is super quik when I need filters and the company offers multiple paks which is convenient. Cant wait to try the new version, with the current set up I am never sure if the UV lite is on or off ( at this point they probably need to be replaced). Thanks!

We experienced a leak in our house and needed the extra HEPA filter for moldy smells. This has left the air fresh and much "cleaner smelling". I really enjoy these filters by GermGuardian this is our second one. It is a little too noisy at night on the lowest setting, but I don't sleep well without it running. Yes I do recommend these HEPA filters 5 stars.

We've had the same air purifier for about 10 years, after using it all night, every night, it started wearing down and making extraneous noises. We looked at other items, but in the end just wanted another one, and Wal Mart had the best price and fastest shipping offered.

I got a 5mo. old kitten in early november. I wanted to keep him in my bedroom, but the odor of the "deodorizing litter" was really too strong for a small room. I ordered the small size purifyer and it's working perfectly. I haven't had to change the filter yet and 3 months is coming up. The unit is also soundless and sits on the floor. I would highly recommend the GermGuardian for anyone that has pets, needs a little background noise at night, to help keep the dust or odor particles down, to keep any room slightly cooler with fresh filtered air circulation, except the bathroom of course. We have 4 of them %26 use them daily according to what room it is. There are 3 settings-low, medium %26 high, very easy to use %26 to replace the filter. The main room we use it in daily is the living room where there is the most traffic %26 we spend a lot of time. Especially due to me having allergies %26 asthma.

Bought this to replace a larger Germ Guardian. Gave that one to my brother for a mold/mildew problem. It had indicator lights to show when fan with filter and/or UV light was on and they would blink when needing replaced. This one has neither. Fan is noisy even on lowest setting. There are recommended replacement times for filter and UV bulb but no way of knowing if either has failed early. Filter would be easy to check but bulb could stay burned out for months without realizing it. I would recommend getting one with the better features.

In the description. it is described as filtering 338 sq. ft, but on the carton it says that it filters 70 sq ft, Which is correct
