American History WELL worthing viewing!
Great ALL way around. I had the original Gods and Generals and then wanted to see this which followed. Yes the battle scenes are LONG but that was the Civil War. This costly war 2.4 million died, was more then with re to slavery. But states rights. Well worth doing further research into this period!

It was a very good movie to watch. Although it is a good movie; it is long. More than 4 hrs. so either plan to spend then entire night watching it or split it in 2 nights as we did. Good actors and brings the war at Gettysburg right into your living room.

This a great movie.
Yes, this is a long movie , it is informative and detailed. It is a movie were you would want to watch it again if you are interested in war movies. I've watched this movie 3x.

Spectacular but heart wrenching battle scenes.
An excellent production showing heart wrenching battle scenes. The extra bonus footage of the making of the film was excellent too. Well worth the $4.85 price!

Good Movie
This is a very good movie,the pase and action are very well done and keeps you glued to the screen. You dont even relize how long it is when you watch it, its that compelling.
