Gevalia Decaf House Blend Ground Coffee, Decaffeinated, 12 oz. Bag

there are only two coffee brands that I really love %26 enjoy. Gevalia and red diamond. since my Walmart does not sell red diamond %26 I don't always have time to go to other stores, I will buy a gevalia brand at a higher price point. Gevalia is smooth, has low acidity, and tastes great. I would recommend it to anyone. Even the specialty, more expensive name brand coffee isn't as smooth to me.💜

I use to buy this brand when it was only available through the mail after joining a coffee club having new flavors delivered to me every month. I no longer can have caffeine so I rarely ever could drink it anymore. I tried a decaffeinated pour over coffee at our local coffee shop and had to purchase this cofee to try out with my new pour over coffee maker.

This decaf is a more robust flavor and aroma.. I personally prefer a more mellow blend, but my daughter really liked this blend. I served this to a friend who told me "You make great coffee; like freshly-brewed 7Eleven coffee ... he didn't know it was decaf ;-D If you like a stronger tasting coffee, you'll love this decaf! Tastes like regular ground roast.

This decaf tastes full-bodied, so you can use just a bit less of it, for brewing, than the bargain brands. The price is somewhat more than we usually spend on the same amount of Great Value coffee, so we only use it on the weekends, as a treat. It is worth the extra money, however.

This is the best coffee in the market. Don't ever stop selling it because that would be a great loss to your business and your sales. Highly recommend to anyone who hasn't tried it.

I am by no means a coffee aficionado but there's something different with this coffee. It seems smoother and has no bitterness that some other coffees have. It is now the one I use the most. If you like dark coffee this is not the one for you. But for me it is right in the middle where I like my coffee to be.

I wanted a quality decaf. I honestly don't know what that is. It's not Dunkin. I've had this brand in the past, and I enjoyed it. Back then I was drinking it with cream and sugar though, so I don't know if it masked the coffee itself, or maybe my tastes have changed. This isn't bad, but upon opening the bag, I did not enjoy the scent. The taste was fine, and I will finish the bag. Eventually. But I'm not sure if I'll buy another.

Strong but not much aromatic, maybe good with flavored creamers or for lattes. For those who enjoy a straight black coffee with irresistible aroma it is just ordinary robusta, mid-level quality brand.

Years ago, my brother had a subscription to Gevalia Coffee and it was wonderful. Full bodied, smooth, and just delicious. When I saw that Walmart carried decaffeinated Gevalia, I was very excited, but this does not compare to the subscription Gevalia. It tastes more like the company is getting rid of its rancid and damaged beans by palming them off on the unsuspecting grocery store market. I can't even describe what it is about the coffee that tastes so bad. I would call it bitter or sour, but that isn't even quite accurate. It is both strong and weak at the same time, if that is even possible. I think someone needs to coin a new term to describe how disgusting this coffee is...maybe something comparable to dishwater. I am one of those people who doesn't like to waste things. I will make my family finish a box of cereal, even when no one is particularly fond of it. If they forget to use the chip clip, they are eating stale chips until the bag is finished and heaven help anyone who opens a new bag before every crumb of the old bag is gone. Normally, I would suffer through a bag of subpar coffee. I am no quitter. I will force myself to finish a terrible book because I am a person that sees things through. That said, I would rather give up coffee for the rest of my life than finish this bag. It went into the trash, because my conscience couldn't handle causing the suffering it would bring if I tried to give it away to a friend or neighbor. Do yourself a favor and skip this coffee. Heating up a kettle of muddy water would be a better choice.

packaging was contaminated with larva, in the folds of the coffee bag . i reported it to Walmart. the coffee was not effected and is delicious but unfortunatly will not be ordering any more. must be in theshippi g or warehouse.
