I love this straightener. I always leave the house %26 end up going back cause I can't remember if I turned it off! OCD. So I love that this one will automatically turn off if you're not using it. I live where it is super humid %26 my last straightener the chi would get frizzy %26 only last a day. This one kept my hair straight for 3 days through humidity %26 rain! Definitely worth the high price.

It does not heat up like my previous flat iron. Actually, I started using the old flat iron and it still works. The reason I purchased the ghd was because Consumer Reports recommended it. I have only had it for maybe 3 months and would love to return it!

Received a fake. No GHD branding (in fact no branding whatsoever) on either the box or product. Actually tried it but it wouldn't heat up and kept turning off.

While I wanted to love this straightener, the design is HORRIBLE! There are little crevasses /joints near the heating plates that hair gets caught in and rips out. I have thin, fine hair that breaks easily anyway, and this only makes it worse.

I thought it looked much different than my other one. This product appears to be a fake. During initial use coating came off and plates looked different than real ghd products. I am returning immediately. I dont even think it heated up properly either

Its a counterfeit item, can easily tell by the quality. Wire is rounded, not flat; model no/serial number is not unique, etc. Stay away!! Not sure why Walmart is telling it be sold on here.
