ghd Stylers Platinum + Black 1 Styler

I am new to using the Platinum+. Ive used the original after for over 28 years. Its was my one and only Flatiron. This new black Platinum is easy to use, lightweight and works well. The plate is smaller than I would like.

I have red hair which gets notoriously frizzy in winter or on humid days. I looked up on ChatGPT which product could help and it suggested this flat iron. IT WORKS! I am a principal of a k-8, always in need of looking professional but always in and out of buildings or on the yard, in the elements. Even in recent cold and rainy weather my hair stayed silky smooth and straight (finally)!

Exactly what I ordered. I had to finally buy a new one after my Chi that I got 24 yrs ago couldn’t be repaired. This actually heats so quickly and I like that it makes a noise when it is ready. Also comes with silicone sleeves for the plates. Well worth the buy, works great on my hair.

I have heard great things about the GHD Platinum Plus Hair Straightener so I decided to give it a try. Boy, was I impressed by how smooth and straight it got my wavy frizzy hair! And it seems to keep my hair straighter longer than my old straightener. It is easy to use it to curl your hair as well which I really love! It warms up extremely fast, in a matter of seconds! Highly recommend this straightener!

The flat iron is nice but the power on and ready sound is not well made. Sound very static and the note is not clear. Kind of annoying.

I had high hopes for this iron, since my hair stylist recommended it, but when I tried it out at home it immediately got caught in my hair and yanked out a chunk. It also only did an OK job of straightening once I untangled it.

This is a counterfeit item. The date code on the product was invalid... and, big surprise, it also isn't unique either. The code on this styler perfectly matched that of the code found on another fake GHD straightener in a video about identifying fakes.
